Author Topic: WATCH FOR THE RAPTURE botham Advanced Member Member # 7935 posted                       Hello--thanks for the reminder to keep our Lord's return at the top of our daily prayer agenda. But I still have trouble with the interpretation of scripture regarding the rapture. Do you have a scripturally based opinion as to why the Church will avoid the tribulation. I believe that it is possible to interpret scripture in a way that sees the Church of Jesus Christ going through the tribulation. So many martyrs have already experienced what could only be described as a personal tribulation for themselves and other church members. For instance many were tortured and killed, along with their families because they would not renounce their Lord Jesus Christ. Just wondering what you think. I just leave it up to God and if there is a rapture before the tribulation period so be it--glory to God. But I think we should be prepared to go through tribulation as we await the return of our King Jesus.
