U.S. Patent Issued for Mark U.S. Patent 5,878,155 was recently issued to Houston inventor Thomas W. Heeter, described as a "Method for verifying human identity during electronic sale transactions" — by tattooing a bar code on an individual!

By 'recently', I take it you mean five years ago?

I'm suprised the USPTO even allowed the patent. Here in the UK it would've been laughed out as useless and not in the least bit original.

Why would anyone want to tattoo people as a security check when far more complex personal informations already encoded on to our finger tips and the back of our eyes?

Dale sent this to me and it is one of the scariest presentations of this idea that I have seen. I couldnt figure out how to get it available from the board, so I uploaded it to my site. This one scared me, because I was working on my computer and it started making noises and i could not turn it off, and the window was closed and i just heard the noise.

well they are not sticking anything in me, I was want to be killed, raptured preferred.

Here's the passage from Revelation 13:16-17 in the NIV:

Well you're right about one thing. It doesn't say anything about barcodes or tattoos.

What would I say the 'Mark of The Beast' is? Well, if we take Revelation as being literally true then it's 666 but if that is the case then the whole argument about barcodes falls rather flat on it's face.

I'm sorry my friends but this is just sounding like a load of crack-pot nonsense. Looking at some of the lame links we have had so far, we've had 'Adolph Hitler' being nearly (but not quite) 666, and various other words being shoehorned in to the 666 theory, add an 'A' here, change the tense here. "And the number of the beast shall be 666 (or thereabouts) presumably.

We've had people drawing lines on maps, conviniently ignoring the fact that there aren't any streets (or in some cases, land) under a large proportion of thier lines.

We've had a totally irrelevent explanation of how barcodes work in a retail environment (EPOS not being mentioned in Revelation to the best of my recall) from the people who continue to report the "Drilled In To Hell" story which has been so widely discredited as to make it beyond a joke.
