This is true and most of those also known as Neo-Darwinians do not actually teach what he was driving at. He never said we are descended from apes like the Leaky's and others try and impress us with but rather that biologically both lines come from a common ancestor (though I do not believe this for one minute). The other theory leads to a subtle form of institutionalized racism.
Natural Selection is real. Giraffes with longer necks survived, and those with shorter necks did not, but because they could not acquire enough food. However short neck Giraffes did not get long necks by reaching and stretching for higher leaves over millions of years. Dinosaurs did not become birds (archaeoraptor is a dispelled hoax) as small dinosaurs climbing trees and jumping or falling out over millions of years eventually adapted and grew wings.
So Darwin was predominately incorrect over his concept of acquired characterisitics (by general mutation) and what is called cross-phyletic morphism (one species becoming another totally different species). Of these two there is zero actial scientific evidence and in fact much evidence that denies the possibility of both of these ideas (I have endless pages of notes on this subject).
Finally, Darwin admitted that if his theory could in any area be shown to not be true the whole theory should be scrapped and never doubted that God created the Universe although he in no wise believed in God as the Bible describes Him as any of us would.

Many would be supprised to know that Charles Darwin didn't 100% beleive in his theory.
Yet science pushes it today like it is fact.
-------------------- With you I rise, In you I sleep, kneeling down I kiss your feet, Grace abounds upon me now, I once was lost but now I'm found. The gift of God dwells within, To this love I now give in.

Wow! Thank you Paul. This is wonderful. I was VERY surprised to see Charles Darwin's name on the list.
