Beautiful AMH. Autumn is my favourite time of the year. The colour of the leaves are breathtaking. They seem to be hanging on late this year.

We have a big Norwegian maple in our tiny backyard which has just started to change colours within the past week. It turns into a nice bright yellow. Hardly any leaves have fallen off it yet??

Maybe I will be raking leaves in the snow. Yekk - not looking forward to the bitter cold once again for another year. [Eek!]

It is fall now and the colors have changed. Here is another flower for the season-

I see the wind on the window pain
Hear the birds- and the rain
I see the world on a rocking horse of time
I feel the heat and the flame
Release me

I am a lot like you somehow
In the quite I wait for you
See the faces, why don’t you speak now
Release me Release me

I will rise up in brightness
Together we walk
Release me Release me Release me

I like flowers. They can really brighten up a small area such as a room and they can also brighten up a large area such as a yard. My favorite flower is the Zinnia. We have a large patch of them out back. Some rabbits live under the mini-barn and when they see me coming sometimes they run to the Zinnias. Baby rabbits are easy to catch in a thick Zinnia patch such as ours.

Poetry is like flowers only in written form. Here is a flower that I grew in my garden:

Once

Once upon a garden floor
Mankind God did create
Wrapped in love upon man’s heart
Was wrote the Godly trait

Once upon the goodly tree
The serpent spoke of deity
Death by sin cursed family
Pushed open wide the door

Once upon the mighty rock
As Moses’ rod did fell
The gift free choice upon mankind
‘twixt heaven or of hell

Once upon a lonely heap
Job’s boils began to seep
My family children he to weep
The sting upon the precious flock

No wait, one comes to redeem
One line to save mankind

Once upon a cruel cruel tree
The Lamb did cry this plea
Into Thy hand commit
My spirit I to Thee

Once upon a heart of stone
My Savior now I own
All that I had forsaken
Lay prostrate ‘neath His throne
