At this point we have to pray the Lord Jesus Christ may be lift up above all things on this earth, God have allow many things to come to pass for His glory only. This nation even do is bless in a way for us to have freedom to worship Him there is also many that want a universal peace, all are brethren’s and the goal of no weapons and be one community. We Christian our matter is not political many would not agree with me but that is the truth, we are not a political movement. We ourselves are children of the God that made heaven and earth and have send His only begotten Son that we may be heal from death unto His wonderful light, that we may go unto the world and “teach” them or make disciple unto Christ by the power of the gospel. This is our call not to get involve in how much power we have for we need not to worry on that for we have in our side I AM WHOM I AM. Yes as citizens we have obligations to attend and when we attend this obligations we most do it in good a manner unto the glory of the Lord Jesus and not as the Religious Political system as the Pharisees, Sadducees hade for gainsaying.

I think you have printed propaganda, which is only partly true.
There have been persons imprisoned without a speedy trial, like the 20th hijacker person, and for many good reasons, he has been treated differently. He does have a lawyer, and I don't think he's even an American Citizen. He's Mousawi or something like that.
The people kept in Guatanamo Bay are NOT citizen of America, but outside foreigners who have been know in terrorist acitvities, and they are kept as prisoners for national security. These are not American citizens.
As far as the media not investigating or saying things against Pres. Bush, YOU MUST BE KIDDING!
Almost every day I hear on some news outlet, that people say the Bush deceived us into war with Iraq. They call him a liar, and Congress has fought against every nominee that Bush has asked for in his cabinet or for judges.
The Senate has tortured and maligned every person that Bush has nominated for his cabinet or for judgeships.
Nancy Pelosi a democratic senator of California, even went as far as to accuse Conalesa Rice of "so loyal to the president that it obscured her handling of the truth."
1. that makes a premise by Pelosi, that it's wrong to be loyal.
2. It implies that Condi can't make up her own mind.
3. Pelosi, BTW thinks partial birth abortions are completely fine. It's acceptable to kill a baby as long as any part of it's body is still in the birth canal.
Talk about not being able to see truth! If Democrats wish to call Bush a Hitler, their voices fall on deaf ears for me! They are not credible.
There's a huge spiritual battle/war out there against Pres Bush. When one really looks at what his accusers believe in, one can then see if they are credible.
Bush's accusers want this country to be socialist.
That's their goal. They say if American gets killed, no big deal, just don't hurt any Muslims.
They say don't go to Iraq and defend our country, don't fight terrorism or else we'll just make the terrorists madder.
Because Bush did take a strong stand and go to war, many hidden things have come to light. Evil things; like the alliance of France and Russia and Germany to conspire for America's downfall. Also their involvement in receiving money from Saddam Hussian and the OIl for food scheme, France was involved in taking money that was supposed to have been for the Iraqi people.
That is why Germany, Russia, and France didn't agree with us to go to war. They had their own agenda.

Freedoms Lost Under G.W. Bush

Supporters and apologists for President G.W. Bush will often assail my assertion that the Bush administration has done more to dismantle constitutional protections of our liberties than any president in modern memory. It seems that these people believe that until federal Storm Troopers knock down the doors of their homes and drag them off to the gulags, they have lost no freedoms. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Anyone who dares to oppose or even question Bush must be regarded as enemies of America or even as enemies of God.
If history is any teacher, it instructs us in the incremental process that elitists use to implement their totalitarian agenda. The first step is to use an incessant, highly orchestrated propaganda. For all practical purposes, the major media in the United States is providing that propaganda. At the national level, there is hardly any investigative journalism going on. Instead, the national press corps has become little more than lazy lackeys for the White House.
The second step is to lay the foundation for totalitarianism by passing legislation that may later be used against the citizenry. And that is exactly what the Bush administration has very successfully accomplished. It very adroitly succeeded where the Clinton administration failed.
For example, most conservatives would be surprised to learn that the Patriot Act and Department of Homeland Security was the brainchild of one William Jefferson Clinton. However, a recalcitrant Republican Congress denied Clinton the opportunity to implement these plans. Of course, with the Republican, G.W. Bush, serving as President, that same Republican Congress was all too eager to pass these bills into law.
The third step is to demonize and marginalize anyone and everyone who opposes the government's plans and ambitions. Such opponents are characterized as "unpatriotic," "obstructionist," "uncompassionate," or even "ungodly." Once again, the Bush minions have very skillfully done just that. Anyone who dares to oppose or even question Bush must be regarded as enemies of America or even as enemies of God.
Whether or not individual Americans have been personally subjected to tyranny as a result of lost freedoms doesn't change the fact that they have already lost these freedoms.
Of course, the last step is to begin using the power and force of government to physically silence or remove those who are determined to require such treatment. And, as Germany's National Socialists proved, by the time this happens, there is no one around who is capable of coming to the assistance of such people.
For those who are willing to objectively analyze Bush's actions and policies, the truth is clearly seen: this President has systematically put in place laws, policies, and bureaucracies that can, are, and will continue to strip the American citizenry of the constitutional protections of their liberties.
Following are examples of freedoms which President Bush and his fellow Republicans in Congress have already expunged (as reported by the Associated Press):
FREEDOM OF ASSOCIATION: Government may monitor religious and political institutions without suspecting criminal activity to assist terror investigations.
FREEDOM OF INFORMATION: Government has closed once-public immigration hearings, has secretly detained hundreds of people without charges, and has encouraged bureaucrats to resist public records questions.
FREEDOM OF SPEECH: Government may prosecute librarians or keepers of any other records if they tell anyone that the government subpoenaed information related to a terror investigation.
RIGHT TO LEGAL REPRESENTATION: Government may monitor federal prison jailhouse conversations between attorneys and clients, and deny lawyers to Americans accused of crimes.
FREEDOM FROM UNREASONABLE SEARCHES: Government may search and seize Americans' papers and effects without probable cause to assist terror investigation.
RIGHT TO A SPEEDY AND PUBLIC TRIAL: Government may jail Americans indefinitely without a trial.
RIGHT TO LIBERTY: Americans may be jailed without being charged or being able to confront witnesses against them.
These rights have already been lost! Whether individual Americans have been personally subjected to the resultant tyranny or not doesn't change the fact that they have already lost these freedoms! This fact, alone, should be enough for any studious lover-of-liberty to be outraged.
That good citizens are compliant and unconcerned regarding G.W. Bush's propensity to trample constitutional freedoms bespeaks a great ignorance or a great apathy, or both.

Bonhoeffer and the Sermon on the Mount
The exposition of the Sermon on the Mount is another important element of The Cost of Discipleship. In it, Bonhoeffer places special emphasis on the beatitudes for understanding the incarnate and crucified Christ. It is here that the disciples are called "blessed" for an extraordinary list of qualities.
The poor in spirit have accepted the loss of all things, most importantly the loss of self, so that they may follow Christ. Those who mourn are the people who do without the peace and prosperity of this world.{8} Mourning is the conscious rejection of rejoicing in what the world rejoices in, and finding one's happiness and fulfillment only in the person of Christ.
The meek, says Bonhoeffer, are those who do not speak up for their own rights. They continually subordinate their rights and themselves to the will of Christ first, and in consequence to the service of others. Likewise, those who hunger and thirst after righteousness also renounce the expectation that man can eventually make the world into paradise. Their hope is in the righteousness that only the reign of Christ can bring.
The merciful have given up their own dignity and become devoted to others, helping the needy, the infirm, and the outcasts. The pure in heart are no longer troubled by the call of this world, they have resigned themselves to the call of Christ and His desires for their lives. The peacemakers abhor the violence that is so often used to solve problems. This point would be of special significance for Bonhoeffer, who was writing on the eve of World War II. The peacemakers maintain fellowship where others would find a reason to break off a relationship. These individuals always see another option.{9}
Those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake are willing to suffer for the cause of Christ. Any and every just cause becomes their cause because it is part of the overall work of Christ. Suffering becomes the way to communion with God.{10} To this list is added the final blessing pronounced on those who are persecuted for righteousness sake. These will receive a great reward in heaven and be likened to the prophets who also suffered.
Bonhoeffer's emphasis on suffering is directly connected to the suffering of Christ. The church is called to bear the whole burden of Christ, especially as it pertains to suffering, or it must collapse under the weight of the burden.{11} Christ has suffered, says Bonhoeffer, but His suffering is efficacious for the remission of sins. We may also suffer, but our suffering is not for redemptive purposes. We suffer, says Bonhoeffer, not only because it is the church's lot, but so that the world may see us suffering and understand that there is a way that men can bear the burdens of life, and that way is through Christ alone.
Discipleship for Bonhoeffer was not limited to what we can comprehend--it must transcend all comprehension. The believer must plunge into the deep waters beyond the comprehension and everyday teaching of the church, and this must be done individually and collectively.

This REALLY is what was taught in schools called Christian under national socialism. Actually it is quite similar to what is being taught in public schools TODAY with a little Harry Potter occultism and Mohammadism mixed into the antichrist Global Socialism in public schools.

These factors would lead the pastors to lead their flocks into that path of national socialism then, and Global 501c3 Socialism TODAY. It is the way of compromise and tolerance, just going along to get along. The Church leaders then, JUST LIKE NOW, are pushing for an ecumenical bringing together of all people of faith. Just FAITH, NOT
THE FAITH, which is not consistent with the new global religion of tolerance. All gods are given equal time and status just like Bush's big prayer meetings. There would be an identity of National Socialism and Christianity THEN, just like the identity of Global Socialism and Christianity TODAY. The German Church THEN bought into the Nazi national socialist myopia. Just like the Global or world councils of churches buys the tyrannical antichrist system today.
Even The Holiness Pentecostal Churches of Germany signed a CONCORDANCY, then just like all the 501c3 churches sign a contract with the state TODAY. Sad. Sad. What a STRONG DELUSION.

Ever since Friedrich Baumgaertel's _Wider die Kirchenkampf- Legenden_ appeared in 1958, doubts have been raised about the popular notion that the German Protestant clergy was neatly split into camps of supporters and opponents of National Socialism and Nazi church policy. Since then, historians of the German Church Struggle have generally recognised that Protestant clergy welcomed the new Nazi regime in 1933. Nonetheless, the historiography of the German Church Struggle has been dominated by a dualistic paradigm pitting theologically orthodox members of the Confessing Church against pro-Nazi "German Christians" and their racial theology. Implicit in this dualism is the notion that the Confessing Church was ultimately an anti-Nazi movement as well. This view had its basis in the many memoirs of clergy and chronicles of the Church Struggle written during and immediately after the Nazi era, most by those loyal to the Confessing Church. The martyrdom of Dietrich Bonhoeffer and imprisonment of Martin Niemoller - and the attention they received - strengthened the impression that the Confessing Church was active in resistance to the Nazi regime. The weakness of this interpretation was that it conflated opposition to the "German Christian" movement and the Nazi church policy with opposition to the National Socialist regime itself. In reality, many Protestant clergy - even if they opposed the application of Nazi racial ideology and administrative interference in the churches - believed wholeheartedly in the Nazi movement and its national and racial ideology, during and after 1933. They spoke of themselves as National Socialists, endorsed the foreign policy of the Third Reich, and helped to legitimate Adolf Hitler's leadership.
Protestant pastors announced that the emergence of Adolf Hitler was a gift from God, and many regarded his life as a divine mission. Some who opposed the Nazi church policy still joined the Party out of a sense of duty to the national renewal. WWII can be said to have begun with the end of WWI, and the Treaty of Versailles. The German economy was in a shambles, and from the position of weakness many of her assets were divided-up, and she was to be punished and held in a weakened condition. The German people became desperate for pride and a hope to rise from the ashes of defeat.
The Third Reich offered them national pride, and a way to recover economicly. For those who are desperate evil can be transformed into an angel of light.
When perusing history many photographs and a multitude of faces come to mind. The shabby haggard men lined up for bread and soup in our dirty 30's. The walking skeletons from Auschwitz, and Berkinal. The German woman starting a fire in her kitchen stove from a bushel basket of German dollars, in the 1920's.
The old adage, "evil triumphs when good men do nothing", can be applicable to the years preceding the Holocaust. A spirit of vengeance and retribution authored the mandates of Versailles, and sowed the storm and millions would reap the whirlwind.

There is much about Luther that speaks to his Catholicity. Luther never desired to see a split in the churh, Luther desired to see the error in the church corrected. This for some reason was not God's plan; Luther is perfect example of the mindset of the Roman philosphy toward the Jews;
I myself would like to better understand where that entered the church; it certainly was not the philosophy of Paul or of the Apostolic Church.
I am not clear where it began, but it began early.

It would be an interesting study to look-up Dietrich Bonhoffer and the Confessing Church, during the Nazi reign, for he was a martyr and was hanged in prison for his opposition to Hitler. His letters from prison are an excellent read.

Yes, I agree with that old adage 100% Drew; I have also found the thread enlightening. In fact, this morning I woke up thinking about this thread.
I have not gone back to re-read the quotes yet, but I was thinking on this statement by Dale:

I say this because, here Hitler is saying that the secular cannot exisit with the faithful...he is talking about just the kind of thing that Constantine did...the establishment of a religious state. But clearly the scripture says that Christ ALone will establish the Government of God. It will not be established by man.
And so if we look at all the quotes here of Hitler, I would venture that we could find where they do not line up with scripture. This is because if they did line up with Scripture, Hitler would have been a godly man...spirit led.

The Roman Catholic church is very responsible for the promotion of hate toward the Jews; it is historical fact that they had distain for the Jews as the ones who murdered Christ.

You Dale cannot rightly judge Bush who yet lives to be a Christian or not a Christian, saved or not saved. Because you do not know what God is doing in HIM or what purpose in the grand scheme of God has been given to Bush;you simply do not know whether or not Bush will die a mighty man of God or a hell bound heathen;his bell simply has not yet tolled and it ain't over till it tolls; the works of God that are being manifest before our eyes in this time are works that God were done by God from before the foundation of the world; But, you can and we all should examine his actions whether they be sin and his words whether they be in doctrinal error because he claims he is a Christian.
But for what purpose should I examine these things of Bush? That I can walk around speaking ill of him and justifying my ill speaking because he is in error? I think not!

Dear Ones in Christ;
There is an old adage that says, that those who forget history are destined to repeat history.
We can see the premice of eugenics in the DNA manipulation of today.
Those who seek to destroy others must first demonize and then dehumanize those whom they would destroy. Thus in Nazi Germany we saw the mentally ill, the infirm, the gypsies, homosexuals, the Jews, connoted with vermin such as rats, in their propaganda films. As with the premice of the evolutionists, the value of life ceases to be intrinsic within the individual, and is predicated upon the individual's ability to contribute to society.
We see the pro-abortionists refer to a fully-formed and viable baby, as a fetus, or a blob of tissue, and enable his/her destruction prior to his/her having traversed the birth canal.
If we as Believers have studied and learned such knowledge of history, we can ascertain the underpinings of evil and stand against the iniquity of truly evil philosophies, which have risen before and will rise again.

I find it interesting that Hitler quoted some of Martin Luthers comments concerning the Jews.
But we all know there is going to be another "Hitler" rising worse than Hitler I suppose. Just wondering if the Catholic Church will stand beside Him as many did in Hitlers day.

Alan Bullock is a journalist and biographer of Adolf Hitler.
Hitler had been brought up as a Catholic and was impressed by the organization and power of the Church. Its hierarchical structure, its skill in dealing with human nature and the unalterable character of its Creed, were all features from which he claimed to have learned. For the Protestant clergy he had nothing but contempt:
'They are insignificant little people, submissive as dogs, and they sweat with embarrassment when you talk to them. They have neither a religion they can take seriously nor a great position to defend like Rome.' [Conversation with Rauschning on 7 April 1933; Hitler Speaks, p. 62]
It was 'the great position' of the Church that he respected, the fact that it lasted for so many centuries; towards its teaching he showed the sharpest hostility. In Hitler's eyes Christianity was a religion fit only for slaves; he detested its ethics in particular. Its teaching, he declared, was a rebellion against the natural law of selection by struggle, and the survival of the fittest. 'Taken to its logical extreme, Christianity would mean the systematic cultivation of the human failure.' [Hitler's Table Talk, London 1953, p. 57]
From political considerations he restrained his anti-clericalism, seeing clearly the dangers of strengthening the Church by persecution. For this reason he was more circumspect than some of his followers, like Rosenberg and Bormann, in attacking the Church publicly. But, once the war was over, he promised himself, he would root out and destroy the influence of the Christian Churches. 'The evil that is gnawing at our vitals,' he remarked in February 1942, 'is our priests, of both creeds. I can't at present give them the answer they've been asking for but...it's all written down in my big book. The time will come when I'll settle my account with them... They'll hear from me all right. I shan't let myself be hampered with judicial scruples.' [Hitler's Table Talk, p. 304]
...The truth is that, in matters of religion at least, Hitler was a rationalist and a materialist. 'The dogma of Christianity,' he declared in one of his wartime conversations,

Hitler was confirmed as a Roman Catholic at age 15, and never openly rejected his church.
1) In his philosophy Hitler was far more of a secular humanist, and spoke of the rise of science and the demise of institutions of faith, in the future.
2) There were occult underpinnings in the Nazi practices, and the foundation of the Third Reich was held at the gravesite of a German hero.
3) One should look at the concept of eugenics, its popularity among the movers and shakers of Western society, and its logical ties to evolution and the logical conclusion to the creed, "Breed the best and sterilize the rest". Hitler was a proponent, as was Margaret Sanger the founder of Planned Parenthood, along with such notables as Theodore Roosevelt.

Meanwhile, back in the US, Charles Davenport had hired Harry Laughlin as his right-hand man to run the Eugenics Record Office. Laughlin testified for Congress about the poor germ-plasm of the immigrants from southern and eastern Europe, during the hearings which culminated in the Johnson Bill, restricting immigration in 1924. He also testified befoer the Supreme Court, in Buck v. Bell (1927), in which Virginia's right to sterilize a poor woman involuntarily was upheld. The majority decision, written by Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr., used the most modern opinions of science to render a verdict.
"It is better for all the world, if instead of waiting to execute degenerate offspring for crime, or let them starve for their imbecility, society can prevent those who are manifestly unfit from breeding their kind. The principle that sustains compulsory vaccination is broad enough to cover cutting Fallopian tubes. . . Three generations of imbeciles are enough."
The interesting aspect of the eugenics movement is that it was mainstream science. The Passing of the Great Race was reviewed favorably in the journal Science, by MIT geneticist Frederick Adams Woods. Every genetics textbook of the era advanced the case of eugenics, showing how genetics could be used to solve social problems, if we simply believe everything geneticists say, give them lots of money, and not worry too much about individual civil rights, and the poor training and track record of geneticists in that area.

In The Science and Politics of Racial Research (pp. 126-127), Rutger's psychology professor William H. Tucker informs us that, American eugenicists [such as Margaret Sanger] even made their own modest contribution to the plight of Jews in the Reich. In the late 1930s there were last-ditch attempts to waive some of the restrictions in the 1924 Immigration Act in order to grant asylum to a few eventual victims of the Holocaust. These efforts were vigorously opposed by eugenicists, especially by [Harry Hamilton] Laughlin, who submitted a new report, Immigration and Conquest, reiterating the biological warnings against the "human dross" that would produce a "breakdown in race purity of the ...superior stocks." While almost one thousand German Jews seeking to immigrate waited hopefully in a ship off the coast of Florida, Laughlin's report singled them out as a group "slow to assimilate to the American pattern of life," and he recommended a 60 percent reduction in quotas, together with procedures to denationalize and deport some immigrants who had already attained citizenship. For the eugenicists, Nordic purity was as important in the United States as it was in Germany. The ship was sent back to Germany.
1924: A year of infamy
Since 1933 was the year Adolf Hitler became leader of Germany, why would 1924 be a year of infamy? 1924 was the year the U.S. government passed the Immigration Restriction Acts. Pennsylvania State University professor Robert N. Proctor in his book Racial Hygiene (p.173) tells us about the effects of these acts:
In the United States, immigration of Jews (along with other "undesirable" groups) had already been drastically curtailed by the 1924 Immigration Restriction Acts. In the period 1900-1924, immigrants were accepted into the United States at a rate of about 435,000 per year. In the period 1925-1939, however, after quotas were imposed, this figure dropped to 24,430 per year, a tiny fraction (5 percent) of the former rate. (In 1934 Harry H. Laughlin of the Eugenics Department of the Carnegie Institution proposed stronger immigration restrictions against Jews fleeing Nazi Germany. Today we know that thousands of Jews seeking asylum in the United States were turned back from Ellis Island in the 1930s after quotas had been filled; some of these were later killed in concentration camps in the countries from which they had tried to flee.)
German racial hygienists looked to the United States as an example of a country effectively dealing not only with the problem of the genetically unfit but also with immigration policy. In August 1932, at a course organized by the Nazi Physicians' League to allow physicians to brush up on their racial hygiene, organizer Heinz Kurten called attention to the trail blazed by America in the field of racial hygiene. America, according to Kurten, had been invaded by a flood of immigrants, 10 million in the first decade of the twentieth century, largely of the "dirtier southern European stocks." Kurten argued that these immigrants threatened to spoil the achievements of the whites, "who had originally discovered and conquered the land." But thanks to the "educational activities" (Aufklarungsarbeit) of men such as Lothrop Stoddard [whom Margaret Sanger appointed to the board of her Birth Control League], Madison Grant, and Harry Laughlin, the tide might be turned, especially if immigration restriction rules could be enforced.
Kurten was not alone in this view. In 1933 Physicians' Fuhrer Gerhard Wagner praised American for her stringent racial policy and implored his countrymen to follow her example. Wagner praised American restrictions that, according to Wagner, had allowed the U.S. government to send some 30,000 violators of immigration rules back to their country of origin over the two-year period 1929-1930.
Did Margaret Sanger oppose the 1924 Immigration Restriction Act? Proctor writes,
In a word, No. Margaret Sanger strongly supported these acts. In her own words: "c. to keep the doors of immigration closed to the entrance of certain aliens whose condition is known to be detrimental to the stamina of the race, such as feebleminded, idiots, morons, insane, syphilitic, epileptic, criminal, professional prostitutes, and others [!!!] in this class barred by immigration laws of 1924." ("A Plan for Peace," Birth Control Review, April 1932).
Sanger asked for no relief for Jews fleeing Germany.
But how many Jewish refugees were accepted by the U.S. during World War II? David S. Wyman writes in The Abandonment of the Jews: America and the Holocaust 1941-1945, that during the war the United States admitted only 21,000 Jewish refugees, and describes how Britain did all it could to prevent Jews fleeing the Holocaust from settling in Palestine.

Its chief object is to win back former churchgoers and assist those who have not previously belonged to any religious congregation in obtaining church membership.
The German Freethinkers League, which was swept away by the national revolution, was the largest of such organizations in Germany. It had about 500,000 members ... He was no Christian. He was an evil man who broke many of the ten commandments. He claimed to be a Christian but he was not. For a Christian could never harm God's chosen people.
I could say I am the Queen of England but somehow, I don't think I will be admited to

My feelings as a Christian points me to my Lord and Savior as a fighter. It points me to the man who once in loneliness, surrounded by a few followers, recognized these Jews for what they were and summoned men to fight against them and who, God's truth! was greatest not as a sufferer but as a fighter.
In boundless love as a Christian and as a man I read through the passage which tells us how the Lord at last rose in His might and seized the scourge to drive out of the Temple the brood of vipers and adders. How terrific was his fight against the Jewish poison.
Today, after two thousand years, with deepest emotion I recognize more profoundly than ever before the fact that it was for this that He had to shed his blood upon the Cross.
As a Christian I have no duty to allow myself to be cheated, but I have the duty to be a fighter for truth and justice... And if there is anything which could demonstrate that we are acting rightly, it is the distress that daily grows.
For as a Christian I have also a duty to my own people. And when I look on my people I see them work and work and toil and labor, and at the end of the week they have only for their wages wretchedness and misery.
When I go out in the morning and see these men standing in their queues and look into their pinched faces, then I believe I would be no Christian, but a very devil, if I felt no pity for them, if I did not, as did our Lord two thousand years ago, turn against those by whom today this poor people are plundered and exposed.
