Dear Friends and Brethren,
The Scripture commands: ‘But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.’ (1Pt:3:15)
Obedience to this command requires a certain amount of knowledge in the arenas of apologetics and comparative religion. Recently, I had the pleasure of reviewing a book that provides just such knowledge.
This is a self-published (but VERY professional) book. The authors are not backed by a giant corporate publishing house, and the effort they have put into creating and marketing this book is admirable. I urge you to support them. My review of the book is after the following links.

Pick a God, any God is a great read. It is an absolute must for anyone interested in comparative religion. Doug Olson and Doris Neumann overview several major religions, cults, and New Age philosophies, pointing out both the history and philosophical flaws of each. In the end, Olson and Neumann present a strong defense of the Christian faith.
In a world inundated with hybrid, quasi-religious beliefs and quests for personal spirituality, it is absolutely essential that every Christian be versed in apologetics. Pick a God, any God is well researched and is a great place to start your education. Whether you are established in the Christian faith or are seeking answers on your own spiritual journey, I highly recommend this book.
