Father God in Heaven, we give thanks for a new day. This is Your Day for this is a day that You alone have made, may we use it well and unto your lacking.
The way ahead Father often seems uncertain. At times keep us in rememberance that You have promised that all will be well; for we need Your support and courage. For Your Word said weeping may endure for a night but Joy cometh in the morning.
May Your Spirit remain with us throughout this day and everyday and may we be sensitive to Your guidance. Lord we need the help of Your vision and leadership in our daily lives and above all help us to be understanding of the needs of others. Witnessing before all men the constant bond of Your Love and compassion.
In the turmoil of daily striving forbid that we yeild not to selfish ease, and mean ambitions.
Strengthen our spirits, enlighten our minds, and elevate our desires that we may devote our energies to "Thy Service."
Help us dear Lord to live together in love, and unselfishness so that happiness and contentment may abide within our lives and our homes in Jesus name I pray. Amen ![[Prayer]](graemlins/prayer.gif)
