This past fall, I asked you to pray for my mother whose health seemed to be failing. Little did we know that her heart wasn't able to do what it its supposed to do. We now know that she has brachycardia and last week she was rushed to the hospital. I was concerned about trying to make the trip to see her but, Praise the Lord! I made it to CT safely and in time to be with my mother before her operation. She has had Brachycardia apparently for some time and her heart was stopping. It stopped for over 10 seconds while in ICU and they decided to give her a pacemaker last Thursday.
The Lord blessed us with His wisdom and mercy in so many ways. I just marvel at His goodness. She was sent home the next day and I was blessed with a few days to help care for her. She lives with her sister who is able to help care for her. God in His wisdom made all things work for good and I am so thankful to be able to enjoy my mother for yet a while longer.
Thank you for your prayers. It is an understatement to say that our God is good and His mercy towards us is inestimable. His love beyond understanding. May all that has breath, praise the Lord.
