Father God we ask You to surround these precious ones with Your awesome love. Dear Father draw them ever near, hold them close, lift them up, and lead them upon the pathways of Your perfect will. Dear Father we pray for a miracle touch of Your healing, that the damage to the heart would be healed, and that all addiction to nicotine mught be broken, and these precious ones set free, in Jesus' name. Amen.

My husband was just admitted to the hospital today with a small heart attack. He had bypass surgery 14 years ago. His doctor has told him (both of us) to quit smoking. That is not easy for someone who has had the habit for over 40 years. Ever time I light one I think to myself, is this one of the reasons that Christ had to die? Because I can't over come the lust of this world? The nails they put in his hands and feet could not hurt as bad as the pain in his heart.I belive that he faced his crusifiction alone. He took all of our sins onto himself by himself. Maybe I am not seeing it right. All I know is, is that I can't do this alone. Please pray for both of to give up smoking. We need LOTS of payer for this. Thank you all for being there for us. ![[Frown]](frown.gif)
