God is a God or regeneration....not degeneration. It is natural for us to heal. You will be fine! Turn away from your bodies complaints and for a single moment think of only God......all in all....all powerful......all loving.....everywhere. Really dwell on it. Notice: your body utters no complaints.

Encouragement of the Holy Spirit & Comfort from God by Shawn Lynes
Acts 9:31 "Meanwhile, the church . . . was left in peace to build up its strength, and to live in the fear of the Lord. Encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it grew in numbers".
I was thinking about how many people I know lately are so burnt out lately in their lives with so much busyness or suffering or problems that is making it hard to be comforting them and their family to have a closer walk with God and growing in Christ. That might not be where you are at, but I pray in either case you are getting encouragement from the Lord.
The early Christians needed this encouragement of the Holy Spirit as well. I don't know exactly what form this encouragement
came, but this peace and encouragement leads to edification
and growth in the body. Sometimes we grow through hard
times when we need peace and encouragement from the Lord
more than anything.
2 Corinthians 1:3-5 "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows."
How did the Apostle Paul endure such horrible beatings and utter poverty and sufferings for Christ and write such wonderful words and was convinced of being content in all circumstances and believe that the trials for the sake of the gospel was part of God's plan to bring perseverance and to share in Christ's Suffering?
Someone told me about John Owen who’s 10 children died before the age of 5 and also the 11th child died young as well. How did he keep such a strong faith and strong love for the truth of scripture that many of us can barely relate to? How did he still stay so committed to Christ?
What about how John Bunyan wrote such wonderful and encouraging writing about the truth of God's Word and the Christian Life in the book _Pilgrim's Progress_ and many other books as well when he was in jail away from his family for preaching the gospel outside of the church of England.
From a worldly perspective what totally unsuccessful lives these people lived.
We sometimes have had so little faith in times like these, but wow what a testimony of God's unfailing love of those who are captivated by God and His truth. Most of all wherever we are at in our walk God wants us to have more reliance on Him than in ourselves.
The Christian life is not a life of self-reliance or how strong we are, but of our only Hope being in God. With each of these people I believe He gives us encouragement and comfort through these trials so that God can be glorified as well by there life. You will see this with many Christians in the past that they endured much hardship for the King and God was glorified through it. I have friends as well that are going through hardship that God has used to bring them to more faith or even
show God's marvelous work of Grace in their lives as well.
Do you think of God being glorified through your sufferings for Christ? What about God being glorified in His comfort being made fresh in your life? During those times they are disturbing because we don't understand or want to believe this is part of God's plan being accomplished in us and for His sake and His glory to be displayed.
Can we answer like Job and glorify God as our Sovereign
King through all of what we go through and trust in Him more
than our circumstances. If we can then we should also yearn for the peace and encouragement of the Holy Spirit as well
because God will be glorified though this as well? God has
promised this peace and encouragement through any affliction
and we must continue looking to Christ as our only hope and
strength.
I hope each of you find encouragement and peace in the Holy Spirit this week.
All By His Grace, Shawn
2 Timothy 1:9 "who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began"
