My nephew (Desmond) age 24 was strangled 5th Deceomber 2001. He was with a friend that Wednesday and his body was found in the Bezuidenhout Park not far from where his friend lives. Codine and other nausea medication was found in his blood togerther with alcohol. No arrests has been made as there is no eye witness(police says). It is now 9 months and my sister has not come to terms with this devastating situation. He was her only son, The other guy whom worked with her was on sick-leave from the 4-5th December and he too was seen with my nephew on that night of the murder. This guy came to work on the 6th, the morning (10.30am)the police informed this guy first that Desmond's body is found and its in the mortuary. My sister only knew around 1.30pm that her son is dead and he is in the morgue. WHY did the police inform him and not my sister. We realised that this police knew this guy and covered his tracks.
Although he admits that he was in bed the entire time except going to the doctor for vomiting and cough, the police has not gone to the doctor and NOTHING further has happened even though the police is aware that this guy together with the other guy was with my nephew that very night. The police just took down their statements and that was all. My nephew was also in an accident with this guys BMW, and it was towed by some towing company who is a witness to this two guys seen with my nephew (police has statement). Also their neighbours heard my nephew and this guy arguing around about 10pm (police has statement). Still no arrest. THIS CASE HAS NOW GONE TO ANOTHER AND ANOTHER DECTECTIVE AND YET NO ARREST.
EVEN THOUGH MY NEPHEW IS DEAD I KNOW THAT GOD WAS THE WITNESS, GOD WAS WITH HIM THE THAT NIGHT AND GOD WILL DO HIS WILL ACCORDINGLY.
PLEASE PRAY FOR THEM THAT THEY MAY CONFESS.

Good Morning Saints!
My prayer request is for my friend Kelly, who is trying to get a divorce from a Muslim. He went back to his counry after many years of marriage to marry another women.
Kelly took her 4 children to visit their father for the summer. When she went to pick them up, he only gave her 2 children back, but she had to sign some papers saying that she will not go through the divorce, sell the house, be seen talking to men, and a whole bunch of more unreasonable request. He does not want to be disgraced by his family or the other Muslims in his country by her divorcing him. The American Embassy told her to sign the papers if she want the children to leave the country. So she did.
She would like to get the two other children back from Saudi Arabia but is in a legal and political web.
I pray for peace for Kelly, and for her to get the wisdom to know that if she gives this situation totally to God, he will work it out. But right now she is stress out because she is looking at the nutural, which I know as a mom is easy to do. I also pray for strenghth for her to deal with this and patience to wait it out for God to work it out.
I pray for the safety of her children still in Saudi Arabia who are being taught the Muslim teachings right now. I pray for them to remember the true teachings of Christ and will be able to stand against any false teachings which I know is hard when you love a parent who is teaching you.
I believe the children are under 11 years old.

I am in need of a car. I am currently drinving my landlords car, but he and his wife are moving to DE and need the car by 8-30-02. I am a single mom and need the car to look for work, to work and go to church. Please pray for a car that will work with no breakdowns and in great conditions for me and my kids.
I pray for steady finances to pay my rent of $1500 and to pay the other bills. I have been living the past 2 years paying my rent weekly and many times not having enough to pay it. I pray I will have the money each month from now on, to bless my landlord who have been so patient and understanding all these years. (they are Muslims, I know I am here to witness to them) I want to be a better witness to them by my love but also so they can be blessed and see what a faithful person I am to pay the rent on time and in full each month. I know I have been a witness in many ways while here, but I must confess, in the faithfulness of paying the rent, it has not been a great area. I had to pay them what I had. But I have been short many times. Yes, they have seen miracles when God would bless them with the back rent and bring me current, but it would rollercoaster due to me trying to find consistent work or trying to push my business. The market is slow out here and I need leads !
to give me steady work for my business as a personal assistant. So please pray for consistanty in income whether it be work at home opportunities (which I would love, so I can be home with my kids) or some steady clients, or a job in the working world.
I pray for wisdom and direction for my ministy and for me to continue to grow more in more into God's presence. May my heart stay pure and my hands stay clean in my walk with God each day. I pray the same for all of you praying for me.

The LORD has put me in a new work environment where I am continuously being asked about my faith in Christ. One young lady in particular (Jenna) is struggling with my "sold out for Jesus" viewpoint, but she continues to ask questions about God and the bible. She suffers from H. Pylori (an intestinal bacteria) and Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Please pray for her healing, my witness, and the Holy Spirit's presence during our discussions.

Please pray for me for lots of wisdom in handling my 3 children. My husband is divorcing me so I am pretty much on my own and have been for the last 5 years (he still lives with us - but not involved)God has blessed me with wonderful children. My oldest is a young adult that needs to come back to the Lord. He also needs to learn how to budget, be more caring and less selfish and neater. he has a lot of bitterness towards his dad for what he is doing to me and the family - he says he doesn't care but things he says tells me he is mad. He is learning to cut his emotions off in order not to get hurt - and I don't want him to become a emotionless man - not caring. He refuses to see a counselor to help him to deal with the divorce etc.
My middle daughter is a very sensitive child that needs lots of encouragement.She has to work through a situation where she is experiencing major rejection and failure (that is her perception) She is an extraordinary kid for her age and I desperately need people to pray for her to protect her from the onslaught of Satan and his lies. That she will get to understand and believe her value and Gods love for her. That she will learn to love and forgive herself and that she wouldn't measure her value against what other people think(their opinion)of a situation. That she learns her value is not in her work or her performance but in who she is and who God made her to be. She is a very hard worker and do extremely well at school just like the other two but her time management is very poor resulting in her working very long hours.
Then there is the youngest that needs to get closer to the Lord and learn to take a stand and not be manipulated by others. She also need to learn to be more sensitive and less selfish.
Thank you for your prayers. God has given us wonderful promises for the children and I know Satan is trying his best in all sort of ways to discourage them and feed them lies. They are all leaders in their schools and friendship circle.They have friends but not one Christian friend.My children are very active in sport, school and cultural activities and have find it hard to make Christian friends that has the same interests as they.

I'm 21 years old and have already lost my father. He killed himself when I was 16. My mother is going into the hospital on Monday morning to have a heart catherization to find out where there are blockages in her heart. Please pray that she makes it through the procedure and that the blockages can be successfully treated with medication. Please pray she doent die. My mom is the only person I have left. I just dont think I can go on with out her. Please pray she'll have a long and healthy life. Thank you for your time and prayers. God Bless.
