There is no scope to equal the scope of a Christian community for the grossest immorality out of hell. A man or woman who has been right with God and who lets in immorality will end worse than a heathen, there is a genius for doing wrong. “For I will bring evil upon them, . . . saith the Lord” (Jeremiah 23:12). The evil does not happen, it is ordered. Abiding in Christ is the only safety.
