I am surprised at myself. I am sounding really radical lately. But I understand the consequences, the price people will pay if we continue on a course of 'feelgood' politics, based on what feels right in the moment, but which is not founded in sound, and proven principles (as we have known them), infused with intellectual honesty. Anyway, the reason I make this post today is because (and this is why I am sounding really radical), I do not accept Obama as being a president. I cannot, for it is as basic as it gets to meet pre-conditions. It is a requirement that a president of this country be born here. It is fundamental. It is inescapable. Yet when pressed for his birth certificate, he stonewalled. And for me, that is a "Do not pass go, do not collect $200.00, monoply situation." I mean, if he was born here he should have 'immediately' been visibly willing to display his birth certicficate without any disgruntled response, delay, or question. I don't even care who it is. It is a solid requirement. And now I do not trust him because he did not immediately make it available.
Like I said, it is fundamental, and not to be brushed aside. It is a requirement, and it is strange and inconceivable that no-one held him accountable on this; not one (in authority). Moreover, it is strange that someone who does not meet the most basic and fundamental requirement can be championed, ushered in with fanfare, expectation, and cheer by people who 'should really know better'. I mean, if the law which has governed us for 232 years suddenly has no meaning, then America can be strangly bent into any perverse sort of entity, representing anything. And that is not our America, but rather would be a joke, making us therefore an overall joke in the view of the world!
America has specific meaning to the world, and Obama does not remotely represent it. That is also a joke. Why should I cater to it? Why am I looked at as being wrong by those who would coach me to just go along? I am not disuaded from the founding principles and intents of our forefathers. I cannot follow those who do not hold those values in high esteem. Neither can I cherish those who flagrantly scatter what is practically sacred, into the wind. I am rather, opposed; therefore, I oppose. I did not choose it. It is not how I would have had it. But the winds of change enabled the subversive to usurp what is my rightful inheritance, and yours, to corrupt it, and supposedly we are 'wrong' to challenge it. But I do! He is invalid, to my knowledge, according to what is in evidence thus far.
This is black or white, and possibly red (read) all over. It is a thoroughly dangerous experiment that should have been cautiously avoided. And if you are for O B, you are opposed even to yourself, and also to me.
