When you stick with the LORD, eventually He will put you to work in His vineyard by giving you WITTY INVENTIONS:

Proverbs 8:12
I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.

Matthew 20
2 And when he had agreed with the laborers for a penny a day, He sent them into his vineyard.

3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,

4 And said to them; Go also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.

If you are His, He will send you into His vineyard and also give you wages for your labor; as you stay with Him, one day you will receive a "witty invention" from Him that will turn your life into a more Godly lifestyle that does something for Him while also helping you survive "more abundantly".

Make this request of the LORD: "LORD, please put me to work in Your vineyard" and He will do it.

God bless, [Cross] BORN AGAIN

There are many options for teaching. Music teacher and English teachers are just a couple.
Teachers of kinder garden and the early grades teach all kinds of stuff to their kids.

I think that it is important to understand the difference between what we do is this life and what we are good at in this life and what we like to do in this life and our purpose.

The purpose of our life is to die to self that we may be tranformed into the image of Christ. It is for this purpose that we were predestined:

This life we live in the flesh we live unto him whether we are a teacher or a bag lady or a garbage collector.

Our purpose is to be conformed into the image of the son, to yeild ourselves unto death presenting our bodies as living sacrifices to HIM - our purpose is to die to self and be transformed into HIS image.

We are not here to make more of ourselves - we are here to die to ourselves - to decrease oursleves that HE is increased in us.

There is a movement today that says what are you good at what do you like to do - this is your purpose in life according to God.

This is not what the Bible shows. God used the ones that were themselves ill equiped to do HIS purpose - He does this that HE be glorified and not man.

God chose Moses who was ill of speach to speak to the King of all Egypt.

God chose Joseph a 17 year old shepherd boy and hebrew slave to be the 2nd most mighty man in all Egypt and provide for the Hebrew nation during the famine.

God chose David a shepherd boy to be the King of Israel.

God chose Daniel the second son of David and captive slave to become ruler and chief governor over all Babylon.

Jesus was a carpenter

Peter a fisherman

Paul a tax collector and tent maker

All were chosen for their OBEDIENCE. All were given what they needed to fulfill HIS purpose. They were not chosen for their talents or for what they liked to do - Not one of them sought their purpose in life. All of them knew their purpose was obedience to the Father God.

God choses the foolish things to confound the wise of the world.

We shouldn't be seeking after our pupose, but HIS face. The world seeks a purpose for life; the saint is not conformed to the world but transformed by the renewing of the mind with the word, and in doing this the saint proves (that is demonstraits) HIS perfect will in this life.

This is the difference between being spirit led and puprose driven.

If you want to teach, teach and be the best teacher there is because you do it as unto him... as if HE were your employer, because he is. But know that your purpose is to be conformed into the image of Christ and you wont be surprised and hopefully you wont say no if God asks you to do something for him that you are completely unprepared for, unskilled of your own training and talent and scared as all get out to do. He probably will.

MOtivational Speakers can also be seen as teachers. Most people who go to hear them are looking for something in their lives also, they are learning how to make something more of themselves. In a sense you could do both at the same time. [Wink]

both of my parents were teachers too. Though I'm not one now, I do often teach people when they have questions and can go on for quite a while and it almost turns into my classroom at times or an open discussion of social topics. I used to want fashion design, but not so much anymore.

You pray and seek God's face for guidance. I also believe that God puts desires in people's heart for a purpose. You mention teaching. A teacher is a worthy profession.

I don't know for sure, but I think I am realizing my purpose in life for God. Right now, I think I will be a teacher. But, I see myself (and my fiancee who is so strong thorugh spinal ambiffita) as motivational speakers. I also write poetry and see msyelf doing poetry and books too. Is there any way to know for sure?
