Author Topic: Did Adam or God ? helpforhomeschoolers Advanced Member Member # 15 posted                          The serpent was not a beast of the field. The serpent was a manifestation of Satan; The Bible does not say that he was more subtle than any OF the OTHER beasts of the field. It says he was the Serpent had been suble above every beast of the field that God created. The Father God cursed him making him a serpent that crawls on the ground;he had been an angel. So I would say God named the Serpent.
