Not only would this undermine U.S. sovereignty, but it would turn any anti-terrorist watchdogging into a joke. Would Mexico or Canada set up border guards along their coasts? The answer is a big no--they don't do it now and there's no reason for them to start, what with America sitting there as a much juicier target to take terrorisms attention off of them. Nothing would change, only the level of our vulnerability.
That's way cynical, but I believe true, unfortunately.

sorry its late and ill read link tomorrow, but will it be ike a North American Union? with Us and Canada and Maybe Ice land and mexico? scary stuff
I see a bad pttern: EU, now this, next probably Middle Esatern Coalition of Peace, china, africa, south america, and then australia. they after that, they will merge and be a monopoly of this

It was reported on Lou Dobbs last night that the traitors to the United States are finally coming out from their positions under the rocks.
The Council on Foreign Relations has published a report which articulates the plan to subvert the Constitution by dissolving our nation in favor of a continental government. The media has kept a pretty tight lid on this treason until now. The 1986 amnesty, NAFTA, CAFTA have been stepping stones towards the dissolution of our national sovereignty.
Here is the transcript from last night's program -
DOBBS: Border security is arguably the critical issue in this country's fight against radical Islamist terrorism. But our borders remain porous. So porous that three million illegal aliens entered this country last year, nearly all of them from Mexico.
Now, incredibly, a panel sponsored by the Council on Foreign Relations wants the United States to focus not on the defense of our own borders, but rather create what effectively would be a common border that includes Mexico and Canada.
Christine Romans has the report.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
CHRISTINE ROMANS, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): On Capitol Hill, testimony calling for Americans to start thinking like citizens of North America and treat the U.S., Mexico and Canada like one big country.
ROBERT PASTOR, IND. TASK FORCE ON NORTH AMERICA: The best way to secure the United States today is not at our two borders with Mexico and Canada, but at the borders of North America as a whole.
ROMANS: That's the view in a report called "Building a North American Community." It envisions a common border around the U.S., Mexico and Canada in just five years, a border pass for residents of the three countries, and a freer flow of goods and people.
Task force member Robert Pastor.
PASTOR: What we hope to accomplish by 2010 is a common external tariff which will mean that goods can move easily across the border. We want a common security perimeter around all of North America, so as to ease the travel of people within North America.
ROMANS: Buried in 49 pages of recommendations from the task force, the brief mention, "We must maintain respect for each other's sovereignty." But security experts say folding Mexico and Canada into the U.S. is a grave breach of that sovereignty.
FRANK GAFFNEY, CENTER FOR SECURITY POLICY: That's what would happen if anybody serious were to embrace this strategy for homogenizing the United States and its sovereignty with the very different systems existing today in Canada and Mexico.
ROMANS: Especially considering Mexico's problems with drug trafficking, human smuggling and poverty. Critics say the country is just too far behind the U.S. and Canada to be included in a so-called common community. But the task force wants military and law enforcement cooperation between all three countries.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Indeed, an exchange of personnel that bring Canadians and Mexicans into the Department of Homeland Security.
ROMANS: And it wants temporary migrant worker programs expanded with full mobility of labor between the three countries in the next five years.

ROMANS: The idea here is to make North America more like the European Union. Yet, just this week, voters in two major countries in the European Union voted against upgrading -- updating the European constitution. So clearly, this is not the best week to be trying to sell that idea.
DOBBS: Americans must think that our political and academic elites have gone utterly mad at a time when three-and-a-half years, approaching four years after September 11, we still don't have border security. And this group of elites is talking about not defending our borders, finally, but rather creating new ones. It's astonishing.
ROMANS: The theory here is that we are stronger together, three countries in one, rather than alone.
DOBBS: Well, it's a -- it's a mind-boggling concept. Christine Romans, thank you, as always.
There is no greater example than our next story as to why the United States must maintain its border security with Mexico, and importantly, secure that border absolutely. The police chief of the violent Mexican border town, Nuevo Laredo, was today executed. It was his first day on the job.
Alejandro Dominguez, seen here at his swearing-in ceremony, was ambushed by a number of gunmen several hours just after that ceremony as he left his office. The assassins fired more than three dozen rounds that struck Dominguez.
He was the only person who volunteered to become Nuevo Laredo's police chief. The position has been vacant for weeks after the previous chief of police resigned. The town is at the center of what is a violent war between Mexican drug lords. The State Department has issued two travel warnings for Americans about that area just this year. And amazingly, the Mexican government calls those State Department warnings unnecessary.

RECOGNIZING the contributions of the OAS and other regional and sub-regional mechanisms to the promotion and consolidation of democracy in the Americas; RECALLING that the Heads of State and Government of the Americas, gathered at the Third Summit of the Americas, held from April 20 to 22, 2001 in Quebec City, adopted a democracy clause which establishes that any unconstitutional alteration or interruption of the democratic order in a state of the Hemisphere constitutes an insurmountable obstacle to the participation of that state's government in the Summits of the Americas process;
"The terrorist catastrophes in New York and Washington swept away media comment on other global events taking place on September 11, 2001. Virtually obscured on that historic agreement reached in Lima, Peru by the foreign ministers of the Organization of American States (OAS) on the Inter-American Democratic Charter.
You'd never guess it from the ho-hum reportage of the Establishment press, but the recently concluded Summit of the Americas in Monterrey, Mexico, was a revolutionary event of major magnitude. The two-day summit (January 12-13) attended by President Bush marked another step forward in a long-term agenda to abolish national borders and merge the countries of the Western Hemisphere into a regional Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA). The general spin by most of the media analysts is that the conference hosted by Mexican President Vicente Fox did not accomplish much, ending with a harmless declaration but little consensus among the hemispheric leaders.
The truth is far different. The summit's final statement, the declaration of Nuevo Leon, commits the 34 nations to courses of action that have little or nothing to do with increasing trade - the ostensible purpose for creating the FTAA - but much to do with destroying our borders, soaking U.S. taxpayers for billions of dollars more in foreign aid, and promoting socialism throughout the hemisphere. The Declaration, for instance, included a call for tripling the funding of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for loans to Latin American businesses. The IDB - like the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and other multi-lateral lending agencies - has a horrible record of corruption and of funding statist projects that have saddled Latin Americans with a crushing debt burden. With a huge infusion of new IDB bribe money for business and political leaders, the FTAA architects will be able to overcome much of the current resistance south of the border to their merger plans.

NAFTA -- THE SHOCKING "REST OF THE STORY"

New World Order Plan to create 10 Super Nations.
In 1957, Alice Bailey, then the leader of the House of Theosophy, wrote in her collection of writings, "The Externalisation of the Hierarchy", that the world must first be reorganized into Spheres of Influence before it could be organized into a Global government (Page 209). She made it very clear that this reorganization would not follow traditional national boundaries, but would be a completely different organization.
Bailey did not specify how many "Spheres of Influence" would be created, but her plan was fleshed out in 1974, by New World Order authors, Mihajlo Mesarovic and Eduard Pestel, in a book entitled, "Mankind At The Turning Point". They wrote that the world would be reorganized into 10 Super Nation States, listed below.
10 SPHERES OF INFLUENCE -- NATIONAL REORGANIZATION
1. North America
2. Western Europe
3. Japan
4. Australia, South Africa, and the rest of the market-economy of the developed world.
5. Eastern Europe, including Russia
6. Latin America
7. North Africa and the Middle East
8. Tropical Africa
9. South and Southeast Asia
10. China
Remember, this New World Order Plan was published in 1974. Firmly set this date in your mind, as it will become very important in just a few paragraphs. The first question is "Why 10 Nation specifically?" The answer lies in a knowledge of the spiritual beliefs of the Occult. They believe that man is to be spiritually "perfected" by undergoing the process of "Illumination" by achieving a long, arduous study of "Hidden Truth". Once a man is totally perfected, he is pictured as standing "upright" next to, but uncontrolled, by his world. This perfected man is thought of as the Number 1, while the world is pictured as a zero (0). Thus, the number 10 forms this picture of perfected man standing apart from his world. The number 10 is a very important symbolic number to the occultist. ("Magic Symbols", Frederick Goodman, Brian Todd Publishing House, London, 1989, p. 46-47).
Therefore, when the occultic leaders of the New World Order devised their plan to reorganize the world into Spheres of Influence, they acted in accordance with their occultic beliefs in deciding to create 10 Super Nation states. They were creating a New World Order, which, by its very structure, screamed to the peoples of the world, "We have created the 'Perfected" world organization, of 10 Super Nations". The symbolism is powerful: they are the "Perfected" men, standing apart, but controlling, the world. Ten had to be the number; Occult Doctrine demanded it.
But, this Plan also fulfills a most important Biblical prophecy. This prophecy was given to the prophet, Daniel, approximately 2,500 years ago, and is the only prophecy which gives a sequence of events which God foretold would flow from this creation of the world into 10 nations. Hang on to your hat, for we are going on an exciting ride.
First, let us review the prophecies. The Bible foretells in Daniel that there is a sequence of events which will foretell the appearance of Anti-Christ. Turn with me now to Daniel 7:7-8, remembering that Daniel is talking here of the End of the Age. Consider the Scripture:

"After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly ...and it had 10 horns. I considered the horns and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first plucked up by the roots..." These 10 horns are further explained in Daniel 2:41 and Revelation 17:12.
These prophecies are quite clear in predicting that the world in the last days of time, during the Great Tribulation will be reorganized into 10 Super Nation States, or 10 Regions. This is a shocking revelation, since the world has been controlled by individual sovereign nations since the Tower of Babel 5,000 years ago. Today, there are over 170 sovereign nations in the world today. A new governmental structure is being silently erected over these 170+ sovereign nations Before our very eyes, a new government is being erected; this plan, originally published in 1974 in "Mankind At The Turning Point", is being implemented. And when it is finally implemented, it will fulfill this Biblical prophecy of 10 Nations at the End of the Age.
Therefore, you see, NAFTA is not simply an economic super nation; rather, it is Nation #1 of this 10 Nation New World Order. Very few people understand this, because they have been conditioned by our national leadership, aided by our national mass media. No one has ever explained this before. Now, you can understand why Presidents as seemingly dissimilar in world view, style and philosophy as Presidents Bush and Clinton could support the creation of NAFTA. President George Bush began the push to create NAFTA, but was unable to see it created before he left for office. President Clinton supported NAFTA, even though he opposed nearly every other thing for which Bush stood.
At this point, I am going to state a truth which I have carefully enunciated in my radio programs, and which I will soon state again: The New World Order Plan was created officially in 1776, and has been consistently supported by Presidents ever since. In this 20th Century, nearly every President, both Democratic and Republican, has secretly supported the Plan for The New World Order. It has not mattered whom we have elected, because both political parties are united in this drive to accomplish this Plan. Generally, Republican Presidents have concentrated on changes in the Foreign Policy field, while Democratic Presidents have concentrated on the needed changes in Domestic Policy. But, whether we have a Republican or Democratic President, the New World Order Plan continues unabated. NAFTA is one example of a Foreign Policy change initiated by a Republican President and continued by a Democratic President.

However there is one group among several that seems to be spearheading just such a move again. This group which "first met in Rome in 1968 at the invitation of Aurelio Peccei, a prominent Italian industrialist, claims to have solutions to world peace and prosperity which seem to promote world government at the expense of national sovereignty." Gary Kah, Enroute to Global Occupation, (Lafeyette, Louisiana: Huntington House Publishers, 1992) 40. This group is the Club of Rome (COR).
"The Club of Rome has been charged with the task of overseeing the regionalization and unification of the entire world"(Ibid.). Impossible you say! (who ever dreamed the Berlin Wall would fall in our lifetime?) Please read on.
The Clubs findings and recommendations are published in highly confidential reports to its members. On September 17, 1973 a confidential report was published by Mihajlo Mesarovic and Eduard Pestel, Directors to club members titled "Regionalized and Adaptive Model of the Global World System; Report on the Progress in the Strategy for Survival Project for the Club of Rome", M. W. (William) Cooper, Behold A Pale Horse, (Flagstaff, Arizona: Light Technology Publishing, 1991) 449.
This report reveals that the Club of Rome has divided the world into 10 interdependent regions it calls "kingdoms".
These 10 interdependent, mutually interacting, political, economic regions are listed below:

Region 4:Rest of the Developed Market Economies (Australia, New Zealand, Tasmania, South Africa, Israel)
