Funny little problem is, when we seek to remove other peoples rights, it always comes back to the issue, that all we really have done, is remove our own.

impressive. I'm pro-homosexual (as you can tell by most of my postings) But damn, i'm not about taking away free speech, even if I disagree with the speech.
The law is a step forward, and two steps back.
Unless your promoting violence against homosexuals, you should be able to publish whatever you want.

Canada’s governor general, the representative of Queen Elizabeth II, signed C-250 into law on April 29, 2004. This law will criminalize public speech or expression against homosexual behavior. This will outlaw any written material teaching the Biblical truth about homosexuality and lesbianism. It comes under “Hate Crime” laws associated with the Genocide Convention Treaty with the United Nations.
Our Founding Fathers never intended a treaty to override the constitution or we have never had a constitution. According to Black’s Law Book, a treaty is between two nations. A treaty between a nation [such as the United States] and an organization is illegal! If the American people only knew and could hold those who have committed this treason accountable, we could retain our great nation’s sovereignty. The only way to save this nation is for WE, THE PEOPLE, to turn back to the Living God in heartrending repentance of turning away from Him. The sure foundation of our nation is being removed by one-world-government proponents.
As a result of the nation, as a whole, retreating from the God of Israel, we are coming into judgment as described in Daniel 12: 7b, where the holy people will be scattered for the last 3 ½ years. God calls for someone to “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up your voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgressions, and the house of Israel their sins” (Isaiah 58:1).
The leadership of the United States has become so blinded spiritually that it is falling for every unconstitutional suggestion that the agents of the Illuminati make. Absolute proof of this is President George W. Bush’s connection with the Satanically inspired secret society Skull & Bones. Skull & Bones is a direct offshoot of the original Order of the Illuminati founded in Bavaria, Germany, on May 1, 1776, by Dr. Adam Weishaupt.
It is amazing how Satan’s agents can think up such diabolical plans to destroy nations and religions. They are using the term “sexual orientation” to open the door for lawsuits to shut down Christianity. I have been warning since July 1985 that the Genocide Convention Treaty with the United Nations would be the method by which Satan, through his human agents, would shut down Christianity.
This warning was not a well received message, but now it is proving to be true. These same “Hate Crime” laws are being used in Australia, Sweden, and Canada against Christian ministers – NOW!
It will not be pleasant to witness Christians from one end of the world to the other undergoing intense persecution by governments as “Hate Criminals.” Christians are not hate mongers as will be portrayed. We are to cry out against sin of every kind. Homosexuality and lesbianism are just two of the many sins in which this nation is currently engaged. All sin is against God first, then against fellow human beings. Repentance must be toward God first followed by reconciliation with our fellow human beings.
With these “Hate Crimes” about to burst onto the scene in America against Christians, the European Union adding ten new nations on May Day 2004, with new privacy laws stating that patients at hospitals cannot give their names for prayer lists to churches or the church will receive a $250,000 fine for violating the patient’s privacy, cannot we see the handwriting on the wall?
With the Congress, Justice and Executive branch of government being so spiritually blinded, we should expect within a matter of a few years being in the throes of upheaval and persecution as Christians. Jesus Christ has stated for those who are true believers at the close of the age that we should “Watch and pray always that we could be accounted worthy to ESCAPE all these things that shall come to pass” [paraphrased – Luke 21:36].
Jesus definitely gave Christians hope by stating in Revelation 12: 13-17 that He would aid part of the church, and also in Revelation 7: 1-8 where the 144,000 would be protected from events that are on their way. I pray that many will yet turn back to the true God and Jesus Christ His Son and our Savior.

“CANADA IS A PLEASANTLY AUTHORITARIAN COUNTRY,” Alan Borovoy, general counsel of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, said a few years ago. An example of what he means is Bill C-250, a repressive, anti-free-speech measure that is on the brink of becoming law in Canada. It would add “sexual orientation” to the Canadian hate propaganda law, thus making PUBLIC CRITICISM of homosexuality a crime. It is sometimes called the “Bible as Hate Literature” bill, or simply “the chill bill.” It could BAN publicly expressed opposition to gay marriage or any other political goal of gay groups. The bill has a loophole for religious opposition to homosexuality, BUT few scholars think it will offer protection, given the strength of the gay lobby and the trend toward censorship in Canada. Law Prof. David Bernstein, in his new book You Can’t Say That! wrote that “it has apparently become illegal in Canada to advocate traditional Christian opposition to homosexual sex.” Or traditional Jewish or Muslim opposition, too.
“Since Canada has NO First Amendment, anti-bias laws generally trump free speech and freedom of religion. A recent flurry of cases has mostly gone against free expression. The Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission ruled that a newspaper ad listing biblical passages that oppose homosexuality was a human-rights offense. The commission ordered the paper and Hugh Owens, the man who placed the ad, to pay $1,500 each to three gay men who objected to it. In another case, a British Columbia court upheld the one-month suspension, without pay, of a high school teacher who wrote letters to a local paper arguing that homosexuality is not a fixed orientation but a condition that can and should be treated. The teacher, Chris Kempling, was not accused of discrimination, merely expressing thoughts that the state defines as improper.
“That anti-free-speech principle, social conservatives argue, will become explicit national policy under C-250, with CRIMINAL PENALTIES attached. Religious groups say it would become risky for them to teach certain biblical passages. If a student says something that irritates homosexuals in class, the student’s parents might be held legally liable. Some Canadians worry that, for instance, discussions about gay men giving blood will be suppressed. Robert Spitzer of Columbia University, a longtime supporter of gay rights and an important figure in the American Psychiatric Association, published a study finding that many gays can become heterosexual. Would that study be banned under C-250 as hate speech? And since C-250 does not mention homosexuality but focuses broadly on “sexual orientation,” Canada’s freewheeling judiciary may explicitly extend protection to many “sexual minorities.” Pedophilia and sadism are among the conditions listed by the American Psychiatric Association under “sexual orientation.”
“Church foes? The churches seem to be the key target of C-250. One of Canada’s gay senators denounced “ecclesiastical dictators” and wrote to a critic, “You people are sick. God should strike you dead.?” In 1998, lesbian lawyer Barbara Finlay of British Columbia said “the legal struggle for queer rights will one day be a struggle BETWEEN FREEDOM OF RELIGION VERSUS SEXUAL ORIENTATION.”
“It’s starting to be defined just that way in other countries. In Sweden, sermons are explicitly covered by an anti-hate-speech law passed to protect homosexuals. The Swedish chancellor of justice said ANY REFERENCE to the Bible’s stating that homosexuality is sinful might be a CRIMINAL OFFENSE, and a Pentecostal minister is ALREADY facing charges. In Britain, police investigated Anglican Bishop Peter Forster of Chester after he told a local paper: “Some people who are primarily homosexual can reorientate themselves. I would encourage them to consider that as an option.” Police sent a copy of his remarks to prosecutors, but the case was dropped. In Ireland last August [2003], the Irish Council for Civil Liberties warned that clergy who circulated a Vatican statement opposing gay marriages could face prosecution under incitement-to-hatred legislation.
“IN THE UNITED STATES, the dominance of anti-bias laws and rules limiting free speech and free exercise of religion is clear on campuses, not so clear in the real world. Still, First Amendment arguments are losing ground to antidiscrimination laws in many areas, and once stalwart free-speech groups, like the American Civil Liberties Union, have mostly gone over to the other side. An unlikely split has occurred. In the interest of fighting bias, liberal groups reliably promote laws that limit First Amendment principles. The best defenders of free speech and freedom of religion are no longer on the left. They are found on the right.”
