Despite the angry reaction by Edomites (Palestinians), I praise God that we Christians have their attention. I pray that the Holy Spirit would stir their in the hearts and that they would come to see the light of truth, so they would not have to go through God's wrath (Ezekiel 35).

But consider Acts 1:8...

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

It is very easy to find Israel's right to the Holy Land and the Christian connection to the Bible.

Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all Romans 4:16

The whole Old Testament is about Israel's right to the Holy Land, and the entire New Testament reaffirms this fact and build upon it--for by faith through grace we are all a part God's promise in the Abrahamic covanenant.

Furthermore, there is no comparison between Jesus leaving for Egypt and Arabs leaving Israel. Jesus and his family left for Egypt because they had too--Herod was going to slaughter the innocents. 850,000 Arabs, despite Israel's offering to extend full Israeli citizenship if they stayed, voluntarily left so that their Arab brethren could slaughter the Jews. It didn't work--the Arabs lost the war they started and the Arabs who left became worse off, because they didn't want Israeli citizenship and their Arab brethren refused to integrate them into their countries (despite no cultural difference), therefore they became refugees. Let us also remember the 900,000 Jews who were forced out of Arab lands during the 1940-50's, 600,000 Jews were absorbed into Israel, the rest went to Europe and the Americas. Today, there are fewer than 8,000 Jews living in Arab states. If a "Palestinian State" is created, it very well could mean a new Jewish refugee crises with a quarter of a million Jews currently living in Judea and Samaria having to move from their homes.

If Arabs are allowed their so called "right to return", it would mean 3.5 million Arabs flooding into pre-1967 Israel, and Israeli's existence as a nation would then be greatly threatened. This fact, coupled with the displacement of the quarter of a million Jews in Judea and Samaria, along with rising anti-semetism around the world that is sure to bring Jews back to Israel, and you've got a real mess.

Thankfully, God is faithful and just, and the land of Israel is safely in His hands. Zec 1:14, So the angel that communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.

We must always be ready to defend our faith, as Col 4:6 says, "Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man."

Church leaders repudiate faith of Americans backing Israel's rights

At a conference this week, Palestinian church leaders declared American Christians who support Israel's right to the Holy Land based on biblical grounds have no connection to true Christianity.

The three-day event in Bethlehem featured speeches by Archbishop Munib Yunan, Manuel Chassasian and Fr. Marun Laham who emphasized "Zionist Christianity is not connected to Christianity in any way," the Palestinian Authority daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida reported, according to Israel-based Palestinian Media Watch.

The leaders called for the Zionist Christians to be repudiated and discussed holding conferences in the United States to further the views of Palestinian churches.

In a lecture, conference President Jarris Khouri linked the return of Jesus from Egypt to Israel to the Palestinian aspiration for refugees to return to homes they had before the creation of the modern state of Israel.

Khouri said without such a return there will not be a just peace.

The speakers said the Christian Zionists are opposed to the U.S.-backed "road map to peace" and are against the Palestinian rights.
