A closer look at things to come.
The United States is about to discover for itself what is common knowledge in the Middle East. That Islam makes no sense to the Western thinking person. Their logic just doesn’t register in the minds of a Jew or a Christian. There is no logic to Islam, it is an evil Devil driven religion and its goal is to destroy all non Islamic peoples and more to the point all Jews and Christians. The only thing they have to say to the world is that they are the only true representatives of God that they have but one goal that being to convert the world to Islam or kill those who will not convert. And there is no way Bush will defeat them in the long run unless he comes to the final conclusion that this is a religious war and so far he has refused to do that. To add insult to injury he keeps calling Islam a religion of peace. But possibly there are other agendas we are not completely aware of.
What the US and British forces are about to find out is that the Shi’ites in Southern Iraq will not accept the deal offered to them by President Bush. They don’t want anything to do with democracy they want Islamic Sharia Law. A good example is their march to the city of Karbala this week. Saddam would never allow it, and for the first time in decades they have been able to make the march. You’d think they would be thankful to the US and Britain for opening this opportunity for them. But all they are saying (close to a million of them) is "United States leave our country we don’t want you here". And in the coming days and weeks the Shi’ites of Iraq will become the number one problem for the US.
The Arab world has never been so nervous as they are about Iraq being offered democracy. Dictators not elected presidents run the Arab Islamic world. It’s Royal Families and Dictatorial Regimes and they have carefully tailored their Sharia Islamic Law to protect their dominance over the uneducated masses. They have carefully arranged their schools to be Islamic indoctrination not allowing the truth to ease in. Because of this unrest in the Arab world the Shi’ites of Southern Iran and the Kurds of Northern Iraq will have no problem finding support to fight for their own States. The Turks are already worried about the Kurds wanting to claim their independence, and already rumors are that the Shi’ites are getting ready to offer a plan for their own State in the southern part of Iraq. So what will be left is a small part of the center where the Sunni Moslems live, but even there is a very large Shiite population. So we come back to the roots of the problem, ISLAM, and their favorite word these days JIHAD (Holy War).
It should also be mentioned that around 3% of Iraqis are Christians, or at least not Moslems. Around 97% of that 3% are either Catholics or Greek Orthodox. But one thing is certain if the Shi’ites get into power, that 3% will disappear rather quickly. There is also to my disbelief a reported 37 Jews living in Baghdad. They are elderly and don’t want to leave. They have lived under fear for so long and have become so old they feel it is no use for them to leave now. At one time there was over 400,000 Jews living in Iraq.
But as I have said before Bush has a plan, he thinks he can hold off the Arab Islamic world by offering up Israel on a platter. Because there is no doubt that he knows to sanction a Palestinian Terrorist State inside little Israel will be the beginning of the end for Israel. But I have noticed that he has been stuttering a little when it comes to the subject of a Palestinian State lately. Which tells me that he is slowly realizing that the 2004 election are getting very close and that there are a lot of Christian voters, you know the ones, the same ones who put him in office. It is occurring to him that they can also take him out of office, and most of them do not want Israel divided. So I encourage you to email the White House, write Bush letters, and your Congressmen and keep doing it, it will work he is a politician. He does not want to follow in the footsteps of his Father as a one term President.
As for the road map, I’d like to say that every Prime Minister that has ever tried to play ball with Arafat is no long in power. Arafat either controls or destroys everyone who comes close to him. Ariel Sharon will be no different, plus there is a lesson here for President Bush and Prime Minister Blair. Blair is already on his way out and with the deep division in the US over the war in Iraq Bush can’t afford to stumble over a trap placed by Arafat as so many have. Add to that the pressure he is under now to go after Syria, who is known to have WMD. Not to mention the fact that it is well know that 7 known Terrorist groups has open offices in Damascus. So he is between a rock and a hard place, or should I say A-raq and a hard place. (Sorry just had to say that)
So the next few weeks here in Israel is sort of up in the air as far as what is going to happen next. One thing for sure, Arafat is not going to give Abu Mazen or any other man any of his authority in the PA. So if the US accepts this man as a new Palestinian Prime Minister with no power we know something is not kosher. But even more than that, if Ariel Sharon goes for it, God help us all.
Now that we have come to the subject of God, He has a road map of His own. In fact I was reading it just today. It’s called the BIBLE, Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. It’s a road map to live by, not just with.
The boat is coming along and already we are making some arrangement for the near future, we are in need of financial assistance for this part of the Ministry, will you pray and ask God what He would have you do?
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for our son Joel, for all the IDF soldiers, and for those in harms way while fighting the Islamic enemies. Pray for this ministry and your part in it. Shalom, jerry golden
