Everything that glitters is not gold!
Everything that glitters is not gold, and something is not kosher in Denmark. It would seem to be that any decent American would be proud of the Speech their President made yesterday. In fact, at times he even sounded spiritual and wanting to please God in what he says and does. But Congress is not going to give him all those tax cuts, or all those wonderful social programs, and he knows it. But I loved the speech anyway, because millions of Moslems were watching and I hope what they thought they saw was how wonderful democracy really is. But even more important is they may come to the conclusion that possibly there is something wrong with their hate filled and devil-centered religion called Islam and want to leave it.
There was however that flaw that keeps coming up with George W. Bush, he just doesn’t seem to get it. God will not show favor to him or anyone else who speaks out of both sides of their face when it comes to Israel and the Jewish people. He cannot force the Jews to give up their God given right to this small piece of Land called Israel. (The Holy Land) In fact, what he is doing as the President of the United States is calling down the wrath of God on the entire nation. Gen. 12:3.
But like all other men, God will not use George W. Bush because of himself but inspite of himself. Because as you and I both know, God’s Word will come to pass just like He said it would. That great and terrible battle of Armageddon in the end times will occur and the Armies of the north "Russia" and all the ones that will alien with it will come against Israel and it is then they will discover who God is, and how much He loves Israel. It will have been to late for those countries that tried to divide Jerusalem or dealt with deceit with Israel.
In our election here in Israel it would seem that those who love Israel and are called Zionist, myself being one of them, would have scored a great victory by giving the Likud Party such a resounding victory. That now our Prime Minister would have no trouble forming a right wing Government, and that finally his policy of restraint would end and that we would go forward and defeat our enemy who has been killing us by the dozens weekly sometimes daily. If you were to walk the streets and ask Israelis why Sharon does not want to form a right wing Government? You would hear over and over again, George Bush would not allow him to do that. Sharon will circumnavigate those who voted him into office; he is a man on a mission. That he must make a deal with the Palestinians and give them their Terrorist State in the middle of little Israel, or Bush will not support Israel.
There are less then 2% of the MK’s in his own Party who agree with him over the need to pursue the peace plan with the Palestinians. They nearly all say that enough is enough, we now must first win this war that has been brought upon us. Yet Sharon defies the party platform, and policies, but somehow seems to stay in power. Once again at the victory party for the Likud, all one could hear was Bi Bi, Bi Bi, meaning Netanyahu, they wanted Netanyahu not Sharon. So it is very hard to understand what is really happening here in Israeli politics.
Something that no one else is noticing, Shimon Peres is the number two man in Labor. What is amazing about that is he didn’t have to run for that position like all those under him did. It was handed to him on a platter. Like always he has found himself in high position without having to get any votes. For decades Shimon Peres has stayed in high position without having to run for office or get any votes. The truth is, he could not get enough votes even in his own party to come in much better than last place. But he is in position to move into the leadership position as soon as Mitzna steps down and he will. Like a vulture and by the way his name in Hebrew translates to just that Vulture, he waits for his time to finish the job he started with Oslo. And many more will die for the vulture only feeds on the dead.
If this letter sounds depressing, possibly it is, but it is the way things are looking and we know as Believers there is good news here as well, for our redemption is very near now. But there is still much suffering to be inflicted on the human race before He does come of that you can be sure.
My objective is to see as many come to know Messiah Yeshua as possible before that time, and to see as many Jews re-gathered in the Land God has set aside and called His. For God has placed us here in this land for no other reason. He has not joined you and I together for any other reason. We need not be distracted for the events that are soon coming will be difficult not to allow them to absorb us. For if we do not have our eyes fastened on Him, with no other purpose other than to serve him by serving each other we will lose site of His purposes and fail in our God given commission.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for our son Joel, for all the IDF soldiers, for this Ministry and your part in it. Shalom, jerry golden
