Mon Oct 28,2002 -- On October 26th:
a magnitude 5.1 earthquake struck 105 miles (170 km) SE of Golmud, Qinghai, China.
And a smaller quake of magnitude 3.1 hit MISSISSIPPI. The epicenter of that quake was 15 miles (20 km) SSW of Clarksdale, Mississippi.
On October 27th:
A magnitude 5.0 earthquake hit the PHILIPPINE ISLANDS REGION. The quake was centered about 80 miles (125 km) NE of Laoag, Luzon, Philippines.
Also, a 4.3 magnitude quake struck OFF COAST OF OREGON as well.
And a 4.7 magnitude quake hit the VOLCANO ISLANDS, JAPAN REGION.
