If the pumping station goes online next week, the next Arab-Israeli War will also begin then. I wouldn't be surprised if Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Iran are all in on this pumping station plan as a way to provoke Israel into attacking Lebanon so they can claim Israel started the war they so desperately want.

Thu Sep 26,2002 -- The water diversion scheme Hizbollah is developing on the Hazbani River in Lebanon is scheduled to go online by next week. Agriculture Minister Shalom Simchon echoed warnings made previously by other government ministers that Israel cannot ignore this project, which will cost Israel 10% of it's total fresh water supply.
The Israeli Government considers this scheme a casus belli, grounds for war.
Editor's note: This has been brewing for quite some time and is yet another front on which to watch for pending war with Israel. Israel has made it clear in past statements that it WILL go to war with Lebanon over this. I believe this is exactly what the Hizbollah want. Just like Iraq in 1991 when they launched 39 Scud missiles at Israel the Hizbollah want to rally the Arab world against Israel and will use any ploy they can to make in an attempt to make this happen.
