Father of Six Celebrating Birthday With Son

7/14/2002 A Jewish man in Toronto went to a local pizzeria to celebrate his 49th birthday. The father of six went to the King David pizzeria with his son, when two men identified as 'skinheads' came in and began harrassing customers. When the victim attempted to leave, he was stabbed in the back with a long bladed knife. He died on the spot. Canadian police are not yet calling it a hate crime, despite the fact at least one of the murderers has been captured. Interestingly, although murders are rare enough in Canada to be news, none of the Toronto papers had reported this story at press time. But it is national news in Israel.
