More Tears, More Disappointment!
You're sitting at home in Samaria, and your Mother, Wife and Daughter are on their way home from Jerusalem. You know that this past December a bus was blown up and 11 of your dearest friends were killed on the same highway. But things are different now, for one thing all the buses that make that route are now bullet proof and things seemed to have quieted down over the past few weeks. But, then you hear the news, the bus your family is on has been blown off the road by a roadside bomb, and Terrorists have attacked the bus with machine guns shooting through the unprotected roof, killing as many as they could. They threw three grenades into the bus through the upper windows that are not bullet proof. but they didn't explode, thank God. Your Mother, Wife and daughter were lying on the floor, trying to get under the seats. As they glanced out the windows they could see the Islamic Palestinian Terrorists, shooting wildly and screaming Allahlu Achba, (Allah is Great).
Then you are told, they have been murdered, your family gone, their crimes, they were Jewish. A friend tells you that his wife was 8 months pregnant and she also was wounded, that they had to take the baby a month early, but the baby died the next day, bringing the total to 8 dead and 25 wounded. You sit together with your friend and you both cry, asking God why.
A 3-year-old boy was brought to the Hospital with bullet wounds to his shoulder, and shrapnel wounds to his head and his 8-month-old sister also in the hospital with shrapnel wounds. The Hospital didn't know who their parents were, but later found out that their mother had been taken to another hospital and was undergoing an operation. Their Aunt showed up and told the doctors she didn't know what had happened to her sister or her mother but was praying they were all right. But later found out they both had been killed by the Islamic Terrorists.
This type of murderous barbaric Islamic Jihad happens weekly sometimes daily here in Israel. They kill our women and children in public places, on our highways and in our homes, they have but one reason, they are Islamic and we are Jewish. It is the Ishmeal and Isaac war that has been raging on for thousands of years and will not end until the Messiah Himself returns. In every generations the Devil has a man who he puts within him the Anti-Semitic, Anti-Christ spirit, and the world knows who that man is today, yet they still protect him as if he has a power beyond the reach of common man. Just for the record I will name him again for you YASSER ARAFAT, he is a devil and the world knows it.
On the front page of the Jerusalem Post it reads "US, UN, EU, Russia praise Arafat's reform plan. The US bowed to the pressure from the other three when it came to the word "praise". When Sharon was asked if there would be a military strike in response to this Terrorist Attack, he said "A strike is unlikely because he didn't want to torpedo the US efforts in obtaining Russian, EU, and UN support the Palestinian reforms." It's all double talk coming from the US, to the Media one thing is said, but in meetings in regard to policy something all together is said. Israelis don't know who or what to believe any more, all we know is we are being killed like flies daily and no one seems to care. Once again killing Jews seems to be okay; the stage is being set for another Holocaust. Jews the world over is asking God why He doesn’t stop this devil? Why is it necessary for us to pay such a price, again? Surely the Messiah will come soon, Yesterday in Jerusalem I saw a Hasidic man walking around town with a loud speaker, asking other Jews to pray for the Messiah to come before it's to late.
All we are hearing here in Israel is how Jews are being beaten and killed throughout Europe, even in the United States anti-Semitism is growing by the day. In Canada a Rabbi has been killed. Jewish homes, Synagogues and businesses are being burned in France and elsewhere in Europe. The Hizbullah is shelling our northern border daily now and there is talk of a war with Syria. Saddam Hussein has said his first act will be to send missiles to Israel if he is attacked. (Nothing new there)
Sometimes I feel like the little boy shouting wolf, wolf, but the wolf doesn't come. Instead of wolf it is war, war, but the truth is we are in a war, and our lives are at stake, the nation of Israel is at stake. But the news media has become so strong and powerful that they direct world attention wherever they want it.
While in prayer I feel the Lord saying to me, "don't be distracted from the task set before you, for all will be well, for God says He is in control." For as we travel throughout Israel we see the results of the Devils work through these Islamic Terrorist, but we have been untouched. Even after being shot at twice and rocks thrown at us a number of times, no harm has come to us and the work God established in us has not been hindered. Or at least not hindered by Islamic Terrorist, we are often slowed down for lack of finances but never because of terrorist.
There is much suffering and misery here, Jewish souls are wounded and hurting, families are grieving over the loss of loved ones. Israelis, who I used to see smile all the time, seldom smile any more. There is much work to be done by God's people here, pray that we will not fail, and that those who God touches will not fail either.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for our son Joel, and all the IDF soldiers, for this Ministry and your part in it. Shalom, jerry golden
