Food for thought:- Did you know the word "Palestine" is never used in the New Testament?
The term Israel is primarily used to refer to the people of Israel, rather than the Land. However, in at least two passages, Israel is used to refer to the Land:
Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead who sought the young child's life. And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel. (Matt. 2:20-21)
But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say to you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man shall have come. (Matt. 10:23) ![[clap2]](graemlins/clap2.gif)

Israel is indeed the apple of God's eye, His wife, as the Church is the Bride of Christ. There are still so many Jewish people who still don't believe that Jesus is the Messiah, that they are still looking for the one to set them free. But during the tribulation the bible says that All of Israel will be saved. The 144,000 from the 12 tribes of Israel which we know as the sons of Jacob who will be filled with God's Holy Spirit to spread his message to all mankind during that great terrible day of the Lord. I believe that the time of the gentiles is here, what Jesus said would happen before the tribulation. So keep your eyes on Israel, she is where all things will happen.
