Yes, I think it is a sign of something good! It is so hard for some many to come to the place of being able to talk about what happened over there or even communicate with others from there for fear of having to discuss what happened over there. I think too that today, thankfully, there is an appreciation from the society that they desrved back then and did not get then. This I think is also making it a little easier to come forth.
We should all pray that God will bring them together in renewed friendship for HIS glory! How wonderful that would be.

This is a praise report. After 38 years the 9th old buddy of my husband's vietnam fellow soilders (that served the same time with him ) have contacted him on email. All of these men were in the front.....fighting the enemy in the jungle of vietnam. Some were injured physically and all probably mentally. (nightmares and flashbacks)
It might not be understandable to ya all....but I thank the good Lord for this. To heal from tramatic events you have to have closer. (sometimes) I see that maybe God will use these new communications for HIS purpose, that He will be glorified through this.
