Being a Christian is never easy in my case so I'll get one of those W's too. God bless you and keep you.

In 2003 my life was a mess & I didn't know how to fix it. I was visiting churches & had begun reading my bible again. I read it off & on while I was married the 2nd time. I had also discovered that cable offered televised sermons. I was watching Joel Osteen (my favorite) & David Jeremiah on a regular basis. At this point I hadn't found a home church yet. Each Sunday, David would preach his sermon & then do sort of an alter call. He would invite viewers to invite God into their hearts & ask them to recite the sinners prayer if they desired to be saved that day. For about a month I would watch but, never participate. That final Sunday morning, I was looking around my apartment & then analyzing my life. I knew it was a mess & I needed to do something but, I didn't know what. Something had to give! My attention was drawn back to the TV just in time for the invite. I accepted the invite & recited the prayer & got saved that morning. I was under the impression that once you were saved you changed instantly. Not exactly… However, by the next morning, I woke up, I felt different. I saw things different, heard things different & felt things different. The first 2 yrs of my spiritual journey have cost me some friends & although my family enjoys seeing me happy, they've been of little support. They love me…they just don't want to be involved in that part of my life. I've been told I'm a bit fanatical, which I found out isn't the insult I thought it was. If being a Jesus Freak makes me weird, then friends, paint a big silver W to my fanny! I love God & I want the world to know!! He's the best thing that's ever happened to me.
