I agree that elderly people often have a lot to teach if we listen to them. And even if they aren't teaching but just talking, it's kind to listen to them respectfully because people get too busy with their own lives and nobody cares about the elderly.

1 Timothy 5:1-2
KJV(i) 1 Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren; 2 The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.
ECB(i) 1 ELDERS AND WIDOWS Rebuke not an elder *, but beseech as a father; the younger as brothers; 2 the elder ** as mothers; the younger as sisters, in all purity. *masculine; **feminine
These are my thoughts, please share yours.
1 We should show respect to our elders and talk to them with respect the world is going to show disrespect for many but we can many things about life from those who are older if we talk to them with respect instead of a harsh tone we might learn from them. We should look others in the Faith as family, we may not be blood but we do share blood the blood of Christ.
2 We should not look at women for what we can get from them but look at them in purity, the Lord’s plan for many men is to bless them with a wife we who are single should treat women with purity because we may not know who God has in mind for us to wed.
