Yes Betty, in a way I see that,
I also see those who are almost always here,
and appear to think they know all,
and appear to seek trouble,
following others from thread to thread,
changing every topic to the one they want to battle about at the time;
that being the case the twice a year guys are easier to deal with.
If your "theology" and mine are different on a topic-
a - one could be right, the other wrong
b - both could have PART of the truth
c - both could be wrong
If you share your theology with me,
and in your heart, GOD knows you seek to help me, even if you happen to be wrong,
from your heart you are not intentionally lying to me;
though in the reality of the WORD and truth it may be a lie.
How we use the word lie, has much to do with it.
If someone comes here, with evil in their heart seeking to destroy the truth - then that is a different thing. There have been some of these, but they usually don't last long.
EXAMPLE=
Pre-Trib, Mid-Trib, Post-Trib, Pretrist, Pre-Wrath, and other Second Coming theology and doctrine-
I know CHRISTians who bear fruit, who believe some version of all these things.
I wouldn't call these people a liar.
I may not believe their theology is correct,
and may even think their doctrine is a lie in regard to the truth of the WORD,
but I don't think it good for the true Body of Christ to so easily throw the words lie and liar around if I come into a discussion with them about it.
Too much hatefulness and lack of speaking in love is why many don't post more.
It is harder with a keyboard, as some of the meaning and intent can easily be lost here in black and white.

Yes it is nice to be patient with others and we should be, BUT there are people who post lies all over the board once or twice a year trying to start trouble. They think they know it all and seek to start trouble. Then they disappear for awhile.
It is all about attention pushing false theology.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
I need to know the truth of this scripture better.
How better than to do as it says./?
If someone happens to see certain scripture different than I,
I should go back to the WORD first and foremost,
not react by calling the other person a liar or false prophet.
Some evidently see themselves perfect, and love to condemn those whom they see as not being perfect.
This scripture - 2 Timothy 2:15, of recent months, has become the most misused scripture on this CBBS.
