I don't think powerhouse is suggesting the suburbs may be fixed. Rather, his information may serve as a wakeup call to unsaved "good" people living in the suburbs that think they can escape the evil of this world by living in more affluent areas that have "better" schools.

I am serious about this. Started a site (blog) at http://fightingthebattle.com/ (Steel on Steel is already in use)
Will create action kits for parents with kids and for young men. Also list resources. All free and non-profit.
And yes, it needs to start even before age 13.

Recently, the Lord moved me to work on creating/promoting what I refer to as the "Steel on Steel" program. This is a program where young men, about to leave home and go out on their own, form an alliance with another young man believer. These two men keep each other accountable. They form a covenant with the Lord to do so.
As an important resource to do this, both men monitor each others Covenant Eyes accounts (see http://www.covenanteyes.com/ ) and touch base with each other on a weekly basis. In addition, it would be helpful to have an older, more spiritually mature man to oversee both young men. The older man could possibly ban certain "borderline" sites that get past filters and also meet with both young men on occasion.
Young men are so susceptible to pornography, particularly when they move out on their own and it is only "a click away". And too often, young men will bring a porn habit with them into a marriage. It is only after the marriage is damaged and on the verge of divorce that action is taken - and then it is very difficult to restore the marriage. (I am now working with a couple in such a predicament) We need to be proactive and take the offensive here, keeping young men away from this spiritual blight of pornography.
This is something you could start in your church. I plan to start this in my area's churches.
