Yes Sir! This is a precious truth!

Amen! What are we if we are not sensitive to sin? The power and conviction of The Holy Spirit in our lives must be invited, welcomed and not grieved. He is the potter and able to make as He wishes of the clay. He desires us to be conformed, to be transformed, correct?

Indeed Found in Him, God who is of righteousness, excellency, and all perfectness wants us to be conformed and transformed into the image of His son and our Lord Jesus Christ and in order to do this we must have a sin conscious which is strengthen exceedingly by the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 5:4) "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted."

Do you ever realize that the more we mope or mourn for our sin, the more we realize just how underserving we are and that God tends to lift us up more and more? Being sensitive to sin is a blessing.

Romans 8:20) For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

Romans 8:21) Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

We are new creatures in Christ. We are equip with a new persona or outlook on life. Now how can we ever turn back to the face of the old? We are subject to vanity because what is a man at his best state, vanity. We are in corruptible flesh, we are in corruptible bodies, but by the grace of God, our soul is not corruptible because of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The test of examination

John 10:28) And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Now many can claim salvation but how many are being held by the Lord? Many claim that they have eternal life but are they certain, are we certain?

2 Peter 1:10) Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall

So what must we do, try ourselves simply by the word

1 John 3:9) Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

It is impossible for a real child of God to continually time after time day after day to be in the habit of sin.

Matthew 7:16) Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Matthew 7:17) Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

The question for every person is how is Christ being manifested in their life, in their behavior, in the way we act, in the way we speak. Would a child of God continually let iniquity roll off their tongue, again, would a child of God manifest behavior of misconduct or mischief, again would a child of God submit themselves to the way of the ungodly? These types of questions examine the fruitfulness of someone. While we are not perfect, the scripture does say that

Matthew 7:18) “A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.” meaning that you cannot be both and there is no intermediate.

How is one’s thinking toward iniquity, toward sin, does one take the committing of offense lightly or does one sorrow over sin having the conviction of the Holy Spirit in their hearts? Does one when acknowledging their sin also have the urge to confess it before God? This is sensitivity to sin.
