But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment Have we forgotten that all things must end sooner or later: the end of the world is coming. And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years. And cast him into a bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled. the harvest is the end of the world and the tare shall be burned and the wheat shall be kept. The wheat are the children of God and the tares are the children of the devil. The seed shall be separated as dark is from light (Genesis 1:4); the good seed is to everlasting life and the bad seed to everlasting fire(damnation); One in the resurrection of the dead in Christ and the other not for a thousand years. So there is one thing that is extremely clear, that is we only have one life, one shot and there certainly wont be any make-up sessions afterward. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
I say this, that the time is coming, even drawing near and we can not waste time But seek ye first the kingdom of God. This is it, what we have been called to do, as Christians, as Gods elect. Seek God, Obey God, and to do his will. While we have our lives we must not forget who it is In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind on the face of this earth. We need to stand in the principles that God has taught us through his word, being sanctified(John 17:17, being comforted(Job 23:21), guided by(Psalms 119:105), and hoping in Gods word, which contain the promises, the truths, the reality that the world is not familiar with because they know not Got. As it is written, he taketh the wise in their own craftiness. Those that search for worldly wisdom shall be overcome of the same but we look to God and our Lord Christ Jesus for the hope and a better resurrection, one of everlasting where there shall be no more death, nor pain, nor suffering; but just an everlasting peace praising and worshipping God forever, but we must stay focused leaning toward our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It isnt easy at times but with prayer and obedience and living by faith we can overcome just as our Lord and Savior did.
