I think the Christian life is very practical. At the end of the day, we should ask, 'Lord, are you satisfied?' Have I lived this day unto the Lord? Have I really exercised faith and lived by grace? Have I glorified God? Have I ministered unto the Lord? Or am I living only for myself, to gratify my own desires? Search my heart, O Lord.

This is a very important Question:
'Lord, are you satisfied with me?' Not because of my efforts, but because I have lived by His abundant grace and Christ has been expressed through me.

Actually I would say that the Lord was satisfied the moment Jesus said, "It is finished".

The beauty, the perfection, the magnificence and majesty of Jesus is so great that it suffices to God to cover all sinners everywhere, nay, MORE than all sinners everywhere, if that were possible.

Howbeit, there is great joy in heaven each time one sinner repents and believes the gospel, adding to, or rather confirming, that God's satisfaction is very well justified.

Ephesians 3:8
To me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ.

God bless, [Cross] BORN AGAIN

This scripture should put every Christian under conviction.

We should not only witness, but, just as importantly, we should 'be a witness,' living our lives so that Jesus shines through us.

The best way we can glorify him is to be an example, like this woman, and not grieve Him and be an embarrasement by the way we live.

Turn to Mark 14.9. Jesus said, 'Wherever the gospel shall be preached...that also which this woman has done shall be spoken of.'

Why did the Lord say this? Because the Gospel is meant to produce this. It is what the Gospel is for. The Gospel is not just to satisfy sinners. Praise the Lord, sinners will be satisfied! but their satisfaction is...a blessed by-product of the Gospel and not its primary aim. The Gospel is preached in the first place so that the Lord may be satisfied.

Everything should be to the satisfaction of the Son of God, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Would you agree with the above statement? If so, have we ever asked, 'Is the Lord satisfied with my life, my efforts, my service, my relationships, my daily walk, my testimony?' We may search our hearts and answer this question honestly. Can I have some genuine prayerful responses?
