F-u-n-n-y! [Big Grin] Come to think of it, it does look kind of like that. [cool_shades]

I guess basically it is wishfull thinking for the summer again, when we see butterflies and flowers.

Only too glad to help. I love both of those sites.

Trust and Obey has been going through my head all day. If we can just remember that, we can't go wrong. I just realized that it comes back to the constant reminder I seem to be getting lately "In everything give thanks." [spiny]

Trust and Obey

When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will, He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.

Refrain

Trust and obey, for there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

Not a shadow can rise, not a cloud in the skies,
But His smile quickly drives it away;
Not a doubt or a fear, not a sigh or a tear,
Can abide while we trust and obey.

Refrain

Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly repay;
Not a grief or a loss, not a frown or a cross,
But is blessed if we trust and obey.

Refrain

But we never can prove the delights of His love
Until all on the altar we lay;
For the favor He shows, for the joy He bestows,
Are for them who will trust and obey.

Refrain

Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at His feet.
Or we’ll walk by His side in the way.
What He says we will do, where He sends we will go;
Never fear, only trust and obey.

Trust and Obey

Trust and Obey 2

Thanks for looking up the lyrics. I just got back to look at his request just now.

Paul writes to the Galations about Beginning in the Spirit but then going to the works of the Law.

In Gal. 5:5 "For we through the Spirit by faith, are waiting for the hope of righteousness."

God doesn't want our works of the Law, He wants us to have faith in Him and to trust Him and Obey which is our sacrifice to Him.

There is a song called Trust and Obey, and I would say that this sums up the Simplicity of the Gospel.

Anything else is just wood, hay, and stubble.
