This is Bundy's last interview. It's worth watching just for this hilarious moment when Bundy is talking and out of the background a phone rings which makes Bundy almost jump,he was waiting and expecting a stay of execution so the thought that for that second when the phone rings he got excited and then you see him sort of deflate back to the interview, looking really disappointed.

I can see all those girls he killed laughing at that. He offered only 1 interview and requested the Rev. Dr. James Dobson to do it.Bundy wanted to blame pornography for making him a killer and deviant necrophile. So what better way than to get Dobson, who at this time in 1989 was on a mission to rid the world of pornography with The Meese Comission. Bundy didn't happen to say that his idea of pornography, and the types that excited him were Detective magazines, catalogs of women in underwear, violent horror comics, etc.

Not regular sexually explicit porn, just women in danger, being threatened by men. Bundy couldn't even take responsibility when he was about to die. In the end he couldn't walk, he collapsed in fear when he saw the electric chair and had to be carried in the room like the coward he was.

For someone who was so involved and in love with death he couldn't face his own. Like all narcissistic serial killers he loved causing death but was terrified of dying himself. Fitting.

Most people who will read this, will think I am lying. Most, except my family who knows the truth, will say "yeah right". But what I am going to say is true. If you believe it or not, I really do not care. You decide.

In 1972 I lived in Redwood City California. (it's right outside San Francisco.) I had just given my heart to Jesus at a youth group. I was 14.
I was on my way to school, walking through a strip mall and came to the other side of it where I had to cross the street and head down to another street where my school was located.
While I stood at the cross walk waiting to cross, a Volkswagen beetle slowed to the stop. I looked at the driver and he looked at me. And I had this very heavy case of fear enter into me. Like death had just crossed my path. I turned away and crossed the street.
A few minutes later as I was still walking, I heard that familiar sound of that model of car. It's a sound I shall never forget. That sound was slowly coming up behind me, and slowly drove past me and parked in front of me on the side of the road. It was the same car as was at the stop light.
Fear rose up within me even more, so instead of passing by this car, a voice in my head said to cross the street. Which I did.
that man, in that car then drove his car forward, did a u-turn in the road and stopped again in front of me on the side of the street I had crossed to. The voice in my head said cross the street again. This game of cat and mouse, played out one more time where I crossed the street and he tried to block my way. But the last time, he got out of his car, walked around to the passenger door and opened it and leaned on it and tried to talk to me. I took off running to school and into the office where we called the police and my parents; who came and took me home.

years and years later, I read the story of Ted Bundy. It had photos of him and his car. When I saw it, I was shook because I knew that the man in those photos was the same man who stalked me to school that day.
By then he was in prison on death row for the crimes he committed in killing all those young girls.
The lady who wrote the book lives where I now live and one day she did an interview on a morning talk show in Portland. During that show, the topic of Ted Bundy came up and I was very intent on listening to her experience. After the show she gave her contact information and so I wrote to her to ask her a question.

I knew from her books that there was suspicion that Ted Bundy had killed many more women than those we knew of. So I asked her. " Was Ted Bundy ever in Redwood City California in 1972".

Surprisingly, she wrote me back and said "yes, his girl friend lived in Redwood City in 1972 and he often went there to visit her".

Her words are the only confirmation I have that I was one who got away from Ted Bundy.

Ted Bundy's mother lived in my area. She is a born again Christian. On the night of Ted Bundy's execution, I stayed up and prayed for him that he would accept Jesus before his punishment took hold.

I later found out that a pastor.. ( I think it was a well known guy, cant remember his name now), but that pastor said that he prayed with Ted Bundy for salvation before TB died.

I believe that TB is with Jesus. Ted Bundy paid the price for his sins against man. But I know in my heart that Ted Bundy is forgiven by God.

Whether or not his conversion was sincere or not, is between him and God. Not me.

His actions were vile and horrible beyond what we as man can comprehend. But God can forgive him and thus, God can forgive anyone.

Romans 9:

13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.

15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.
18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?
20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
24 Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

One of the hard things for unbelievers to understand is how a loving God could allow such things to happen. A second hard thing for unbelievers to understand is why would a loving God allow such a heinous criminal into heaven.

When men judge themselves, by themselves; using human forms of measurement, and say in their hearts, Lying is a lesser sin. They show that they do not understand God very much at all.

Sin is Sin and a lying sin holds the same curse as murder.

Yes, a person who commits sin, is forgiven by God if they believe and repent. Of course, the consequence of that sin in an earthly sense, may carry human justice , and this is good.

But when I see God forgiven such men, I do not think to myself "God has made some awful mistake by forgiving that person", NO, instead I think. "If God will forgive such a man, than surely God will also forgive such a women as I am.

Its men who refuse forgiveness. Their lack of forgiveness shows their misunderstanding of God.

I hope we all never misunderstand God's Holiness and Justice.

I depend upon it

God bless you. This is on my heart this morning, and sorrow and most fervent of prayers going out to the family of Hailey, the wee-little lamb so brutally killed.

When the Amber Alert was first issued Tuesday night, I prayed for the wee-one and her family. As events unfolded, the suspect taken into custody, and that precious wee-little one found dead, my heart broke, and as a parent and grandparent my anger was kindled, and my old man would desire to seek vengeance against a predatory beast which would murder a precious little lamb. These emotions within my old nature are further sparked by the pictures of little Hailey posted across the Face Book, and the emotional fervor which is reinforced in a group. Savage beast which would destroy an innocent child, immediately hang the suspect, and cut him into little pieces. Turn that perpetrator over to the family for justice, put him in jail and let the inmates have at him. Let "justice" be served!!!!

It appears that they have the primary suspect in custody, and the evidence has been collected, and a case is being prepared. The laws are there to protect the innocent and to mete out justice and punishment to the guilty. If this man in custody is given a fair trial and found guilty, then punishment needs to be given. If guilty he deserves the death penalty, and at the very least to never see the light of day.

The laws are in place so that if this big ugly feller has a flat tire in a strange neighborhood, and I am walking to a service station for help, a young child has gone missing, the frantic family and searchers see me as an interloper, the law protects me from being falsely accused and immediately strung up by a group seeking vengeance.

ven·geance
noun \ˈven-jən(t)s\

: the act of doing something to hurt someone because that person did something that hurt you or someone else

Bless her heart, a young girl caught up in the emotions of the moment, the group fervor and horror at this most heinous of crimes, posted this yesterday:

"Dear Lord WE KNOW he won't be going to HEAVEN he be going to HELL but don't let this poor family suffer. Take care of them please!!!"

As a Believer, a follower of Jesus of Nazareth, I know for a fact that I on my own am just as guilty in the eyes of God as the most vile killer of this young girl, and I am as worthy of Hell as any mass killer in all of history. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that my sins drove those nails into the ONLY sinless hands in all of history, just as surely as the predator's hand in killing that precious little lamb.

It is through faith ALONE in Christ ALONE that I am redeemed by His Blood, and by receiving Christ, by "putting on Christ" I am clothed in His righteousness when I stand before the Judge/Creator of the universe, for He is the One who authored His Laws, and we have His Word on it.

If the predator who killed this little girl repents prior to taking his last breath, and truly opens his heart to Christ prior to death, then he will be redeemed and taken Home to our Father's House of many mansions. If he has rejected Christ unto his final breath, has not received God's salvation prior to death, then the Word declares him to be already condemned, and bound for Hell and the final :Lake of Fire.

It is Christ ALONE who separates the Believer from the non-Believer and determines our final destination.

John 3:
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Our actions have consequences, and in this life if we break the law we should pay for our crimes. Jesus came to keep God's Law perfectly and pay the penalty for ALL of our sins, so that when we are a Believer we will be Heaven bound when we die.

Carla Faye Tucker was a murderer and had killed a victim with an ax. She was sentenced to death for her crime. In Prison she came to Christ. She was executed and justice was served, and as my sister in Christ her sins were forgiven and she was taken to Heaven when she was executed. Justice was served, and redemption fulfilled.
