"But when the fullness of time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, that He might redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons" [Galatians 4:4,5] ASV [Bible]

Many people think that this only applies to Israel when they were under The Mosaic Law, however, in verse 22 it says, "But the Scripture has confined all under sin..." it also says, "For the wages of sin is death..." [Romans 6:23] NKJV [Bible]

All of mankind was under the law of sin and death because Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden [See Romans 5:12] and those who haven't yet trusted Christ as their Lord and Savior, are still under the same judgment.

"But, the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." [Romans 6:23] and it says,"For whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame."[Romans 10:11] and finally it says,"Whoever calls upon the name of the LORD shall be saved." [Romans 10:13] NKJV [Bible]

God developed a plan to save mankind, way back in eternity.

Why did it take so long? [Confused]

That's a mystery that only God has the answer to, however, we can be assured that, just as with all things that He does, it's being worked out in His perfect time.

Aren't you glad? I know one thing, I surely am! [Smile]

Perhaps this is a lesson we all need to learn, because, we live in a microwave and fast [hyper]

computer age, where now, we are even being led to believe, that all we have to do is think about something and poof just like that, it will happen.

Don't work that way! [Frown]

In God's world that's true but not down here. Maybe we need to have more patience and trust in Him more. Also, God never moves quickly in judgment, He simply takes His time, however, when He does move, He moves swiftly and decisively.

This is why, we need to reach as many people as we can with The Gospel, while we still have time.
