We just got electricity, this afternoon. I have so much to do. House stinks from ice box being off and dirty clothes piled up. Thank you so much for your prayers.

Thank God the only damage was some tiles off roof of house and pool building and the fence down on one side and of course the pool is disgusting with leaves and algee growing.

How long were you without power? Is there a lot of damage around you?

7 days. We lost a tree in the front yard. God was with us. If we had not put our car in the garage, it would have landed on our car. A Christian man across the street came over with his chain saw and cut into pieces for us. We will replace the shingles on the house and check out the damage on the shed this weekend. It is just so nice to have power. We were cooking on the grill every day for 11 people. We were blessed to have water, but we had to wash dishes in cold water.
I am just so pleased to not be sitting in the dark. It was too hot to sleep at night and nothing to do in the dark.
But all things said, God was good to us and I am grateful. Please pray for our neighbors across the street. They are with out power from a blown transformer.
