Calling On Angels

Scripture reading: Psalm 103: 19-22

There are a lot of popular theories concerning angels these days. One such theory states that you can call on angels for assistance. But the Bible makes it very clear that the only voice angelic beings answer to is the voice of God Himself. Angels were created for the purpose of worshipping the Creator and they respond to His every command instantly and thoroughly.
God uses angels to carry out His will at times but please remember that it is God who directs them, not us. We are instructed in the Word of God to address the Father, in the name of Jesus Christ. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that we can bypass God to speak to and direct angels in their ministering.

Thank You Father, that we can call upon You in faith through Your son Jesus Christ. Amen.

This was news to me. Although I never have been taught that you could pray to Angels. I think I have been guilty of talking to my guardian angel.
Things like asking for extra help when I knew the day would be a bad one.
