ARE WE TRULY COMMITTED?

In today’s life styles of different religions we see that they are committed to their faith.
The Muslims are true to their belief as in praying. They stop everything that they are doing and go through their religious rituals, taking their prayer mat every where they go so that they can pray to Allah the three times a day they do. They do it three times a day everyday of the year. They pray from their hearts thinking that they will get the prayers answered.
They also read the Karan which is their bible. They are always studying the scriptures out and meditating on them as well.
They will die for their faith, which is taking their own body to death.
So as I look at the Christians here in America they don’t want to do anything for God because they might miss out on something that they can GET for themselves. WE are self-centered as a nation only thinking of ourselves not other people that are around us.
We don’t want to have God as the center of our life. Just pleasing the soulish nature of man. But we have our self as god over our life. So we don’t need God to tell us what to do.
I guess the reason we don’t pray to God like the Muslims do to Allah, which we are just to interest in our carnal flesh world that we live in. The World that we are dwelling in is Satan’s rule to rule. He has been stripped of His power by Jesus. The power that he has is what we let him have over us.
We need to be in the Word of Truth which is God’s written word; we need to believe it in our heart, also meditating it continually. But it is TOO HARD to do it when we as Christians are apart of this sinful world. Our Lord Jesus Christ said that we are supposed to be not of this world. That is separation from this world and turns our spirit towards Him and lay down this world and the STUFF in it, but focus on the eternal things of God.
As Christians we need to turn from the soulish realm that we sometimes are in. We are dead to the spirit when we come into this world. As a baby the only thing that it wants is to be taken care of, all about me. In us at that time our spirit is small as a mustard seed, in which when we are growing up it is up to the parents to HELP the child develop the child’s spirit. That is the reason that satan wants to stamp out the home, by causing chaos in the home. No structure in the Home. That is why the man is to take His place in the BIG role in developing the children. He needs to quite doing FLESHLY things inside of the home and outside.
Christian’s say they want REVIVAL but they don’t want to pay this price in acquiring the goal.
We need to repent of sinning, because God can’t be around SIN, He will leave us until we repent.
ACCOUNT THE COST CHRISTIANS. LAY YOUR LIFE DOWN FOR HIM. LOOK TO THE ETERNAL THINGS IN LIFE.

Good food for thought Mike,

Yeshua weep over Jerusalem, He is standing at the door knocking trying to get in the majority of so called Churches in America. I would imagine there are tears in His eyes as He stands there knocking..

That article about GW's speech on 9/11 seemed to show that GW's advisers of foreign affairs have an accurate idea of the muslim worldwide threat.

But instead of spending vast trillions (most of the deficit being supported by creditor international countries, and possibly eventually domestic funds such as corporate pension funds, social security funds, health-welfare funds, school funds, domestic national guard and law enforcement funds, and overall weakening of the domestic economic infrastructure -- which might lead to greater dependence on international economic support and with it international political control, such as merging much greater numbers of foreign immigrants and foreign soldiers and foreign ownership of american farms, utilities, seaports, etc.) -- so instead of spending vast trillions to fight over a billion muslim insurgents in localized areas throughout the world, why not pull back the military to protect american borders, and at the same time protect the american economy, by not throwing out trillions to an outside-the-border war that could last many years?

More than anything else, this predicament of insurgents from many different countries to try to destabilize the world through violent warfare, -- requires turning back to faith and prayer in Christ. But taking that direction could open the pandora's box of counterfeit christians, just as attacking Iraq exposed the pandora's box of muslim insurgents worldwide. By having "lukewarm" faith like the church of Laodicea, the terrorists and "tares" (Matthew 13:25) have walked right into everybody's lives, because they failed to seek God's help in Christ Jesus by worshiping God in spirit and in truth.

John 4:23-24 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
