I'm new and didn't know exactly where to post and then finally saw this forum. Guess I don't catch on as quickly as others. [Confused]

I'm a christian and have been looking for a place where like-minded people gather. I've been looking for days and think I've found a good home.

My husband and I used to pastor. He's working a secular job at this time.

Can someone tell me how, or if, I can put up an avatar of my own?

Anyway, it's nice to be among other believers! [clap2]

Hello Joanna and thanks for the welcome! I got my avatar to work,(if any of you wonder why I use it - it's because I have a strange sense of humor and my humor has been my saving grace, quite a few times), but for the last 2-3 months, my emoticons aren't animated, so that's something I don't understand. I'm reluctant to use any that I haven't seen before, because I don't know what they're doing, so I'll just have to use the ones that I'm familiar with.

Yes, as pastors, we've had an interesting and blessed life. We'll always have many trials along the way, but God is building our character (I sometimes feel like I have the best character around). [Razz]
