Does any one here know of the Samaritans Purse organization?
I have given to them regularly for the past three years, and they are a great way to help those who need it. They give food and common need items to over 20 third world countries, along with the Bible written in their own language. They also have been ready for disasters in the US and been able to help with flood clean up, hurricane releif, and other disasters.
My Sunday school class and I have given missions offering every year for three years.

They do a Christmas box gift program that the kids find they can do, with little help. It's called Operation Christmas Child.A shoe box gets filled by you with non perishable items, toys, personal care items, ect.. then a five dollar bill helps them supply a Bible in their own language. The gift boxes go to third world countries where this might be the only way for many of them to ever see God's Word.

Their web site is www.samaritanspurse.org

It's quite the program. They are responsible to any one who give to them, I have recieved their fiscal reports, and it is awesome to see God work. [Cross]

Samaritan's Purse, is a foundation run by Franklyn Graham, son of Billy Graham, and is based in the mountains of North Carolina, and does a wonderful job.

Just thought you might like to know
