I have the shingles. They are around my waist and my bad hip. The doctor believes because I waited to long to get treated that it is going to cause nerve damage which will cause intense pain for up to two years. I do know that the pain is deep into the body. Because of my OA the hip hurts most of time anyway and the shingles has intensified the pain. This kind of pain makes you nervous and irritable. Please pray for me and my family that they can stand me. [Wink]
