We just lost our dad in August last year with cancer. Last week I took my mom to hospital and was diagnised with skin cancer. The good thing is that it was diagnised early enough and surgery was done. We were so divasted as a family at first when we were told its skin cancer but Jesus has given us the strenghth. The worst part is that we can not share this with people in the community, here people are so superstitous though for us as we are not. We are christians myself and my brothers.

My prayer request is to my mom for God to give her the strenghth to carry on. She thinks she is gonna die soon and its like she is moaning already.

I have prayed for your mother and your family. Here is a prayer for your mother, if acceptable.

Dear Father,

I now have developed a disease which I have often feared. I am afraid. I am lonely. Questions seem to crowd my mind: Will I be cured? Will there be pain? How long will I live? How will my family handle this? I ask with all my heart that I be healed. But, if my healing is not in Your great plan, I trust You to be with me through it all. I trust You to give me peace, to let me live with hope, to relieve any pain, and to let me know Your presence. I trust You to bring my loved ones close to me during this illness, that we might support each other, and that Your great hands might support us all. I pray that from now on, whether sick or well, I will live each day as if it were eternal, and trust my eternity to You.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I wonna thank you all for your prayers. I so much believe in prayers they can move mountains. One thing that i do well for the Lord is praying I believe this is a gift God gave me, but sometimes my heart is weak especially for my own issues.
