Well....today is the day that I move to Florida from Connecticut. It's a day that has been long hoped for by me.....many years in the making. God knew exactly what He was doing (and still is doing) in making me wait all these years. It's only in His time that all things work together for good to those who love God.....who are called according to His purpose. I'm so thankful that I am one of His called and chosen.....for salvation.

I ask that you would pray for safety...."traveling mercies" as they are known to us......and that the Lord would take away any feelings of unsure-ness (if that's even a word...any English teachers out there...I apologize). Any feelings of anxiety that are usually associated with a long-distance move...pray for those too.

I will keep you all posted once we get settled into our new place. Love you all and thank you.

Hello again all....

Well....God is good. All went well without a hitch (not counting the trailer hitch). Thank you for your prayers on this. A little bit of a testimony to report as well:

When we were just 1 mile from the Florida state line, I received a call from my job agency.....and got a job! Can you imagine that? God provided for us even before we got to Florida.

What a mighty God we serve!

Thank you all again for your prayers. And yes....I do love the weather. That was one of the reasons we chose here. I got sick of shoveling snow every winter.

Anyhow, I do have to say that there are plenty of churches to choose from here. We're being very careful however. We've latched onto a big church (something I said I'd never do) called First Baptist Church of Orlando. Not sure if we're going to stay though. All of their bible study groups are focused in on those Rick Warren studies....and I'm not a big fan of Ricks'. The purpose driven life is too fluffy for me as a christian....not a good tool....it's too soft.

Anyhow....thank you all again.
