Personally, I would love it if he did get the divorce, and his wife would just leave son alone.
But alas,..that is the sin in me.
She (wife) has been awful to him, but he loves her.
She cannot leave him alone for a min.
She stalks him now that he left, and ...well, I cannot go into what all is going on, it's just too much, you would not believe it!!
I pray that they can work it out.
They have 3 teens.
I ask that you would please pray for them all, that God would be glorified in this marriage, and His divine will be worked out.

Will pray. God always wants to heal marriages, but sometimes, because we are given freedom of choice, God moves to end a marriage. I have seen in happen in my family. Will pray God's will.
Some might say why would God end a marriage? When one person is violent or refuses to change, God will protect the other person and leave the one who refuses to listen to Him free to go about their business.

Father You see the hearts, the lives, the hurts, the needs. Dear Father we pray that You would move in the hearts and lives of all concerned. If any have not received Christ, may You reveal to them the glory of Your Cross of Calvary and lead them to salvation in You.

Fill their hearts with Your love, peace, and joy Father, and move and guide acording to Your will and for Your glory, that wounds would be healed, and lives changed, in Jesus' name.

Thank You all so much for your prayers.

Situation is really sad.
Wife of Son, (Linda) beat her DH (my son) last week. He just stood there and took it. He told me if I hit her back, I was afraid I would hurt her bad.
So he now has a swallen lip, and nose, and cuts under his eyes from this woman.

Then she turns around and is so sorry, cries, repents, wants him to go back to her.

God, it is almost funny!
Please continue to pray. I know the power of prayer~!
Pray that my Son learns how to lean on Jesus.
He is very hurt about Christians, and what they stand for. (His wife preaches to him, and does not live it...so he is weary of Christianity) [1zhelp]

Here is a thought. Have you tried reaching out with love to his wife? I am not saying it is easy but if she were to see you showing Godly love to her, maybe she would be willing to seek help from you and from God. Take her to lunch and listen to her. Try to find out what is going on with her. Pray for her all through the day that God would change her.

I know it want be easy, I had to pray for the person that was resonpsible for my sister's death and it was very painful to do so. But, God healed my broken heart when I did so. Now, I can pray for the person all the time and it doesn't hurt me anymore.

Nobody has the right, man or woman to put their hands on someone else. Son is stronger than me and probably smarter, bc no way I would stood there and took a beating. BUT what he shouldve done, is file a police report. He didnt have to press charges but at least file a report. Next time, he may not be as strong and then he ll look like the bad guy. If he can shows signs of this attack, he may still want to do it.

I ll be praying for him also.

texas Grandma, yes, I have tried many times and in many ways to reach this DIL.
We've actually have had many good times together.
She claims she is a Christian, yet..she sleeps around ....is not being christlike at all.
I cannot even go into detail, so many things have happened and continue to.
son has filed a report a few times, and DIL has been in jail, off and on for her abusive behaviour.
Please just pray that God moves on my son, and protects him , and the kids,from all harm.
She has went over the deep end, and is acting wierd.
Please pray God will touch my son too, that he will become close to God.

Sorry the situation hasn't changed grandmawmaw. Will continue to pray that your daughter-in-law's heart will soften, and also praying that she will wake up and realize the damage she is doing to her family.
