I was wondering if everyone could please keep my brother Shawn and my cousin Jamie lifted in prayer this year. My cousin has recently left for Iraq and my brother leaves soon also.

When I watch the news I have always prayed and mourned for the lives lost, but now it's even closer to my heart. I almost can't stand watching the news anymore yet I also want to keep posted on whats happening.

Thanks everyone. This is a very difficult time for me and others with family in the war also.

Thanks. A part of my prayer is that God will put them with a Christian that will boldly witness Jesus to them. I am the only Christian in my family although God has recently called my cousin Tausha so I pray God continues to reveal himself to her. I lives hours away from them all now.

I have a praise report. I was worried about my brother because right after he left I got news of the helicopter crash. My brother IM'd me in yahoo messenger though and said he is safe and sound in Kuwait. whhheeeewwwwwww!!

My brother just gave me his address where he will be the next 2 weeks. If anyone is willing to write to him, I would appreciate it. He could use some encouragment, especially from Christians since he isn't saved.

I would be happy to write to your brother. Also our prayers will be with them and with all of the others who are serving in Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan, and all of the other places around the world. It truly is important to keep them in our prayers every day.

Thanks so much. I will PM the address to you because I don't want to leave it in open forum for safety reasons.

Shawn doesn't get much mail so I know that if lots of people would write him it would make him feel special. He leaves in 2 weeks and already feels kind of forgotten.
