Hello everyone

I have been away for a while, and I'm still in the midst of confronting my medical situation--with the Lord's help. To briefly recap... the doctor that He led me to has been fantastic. I do not know this doctor's beliefs, but knowing how God uses all things to His glory, I call this man a right-on-target blessing. (But all His blessings are on target, aren't they.) [Wink]

I am now battling the obligatory seige of the Red Tape Brigade regarding my insurance... and I pray for His intervention here too. I have to make $175 last until my next payday, in about 10 days, and already my insurance provider (through my job) has erroneously told me that my policy had been cancelled. (It hadn't been--I made other calls and made sure--but the first agent I spoke to was, well... less than accurate, and rude to boot.) I pray for this path to be cleared. At the moment I am being delayed being given my prescriptions until the corrected policy information completes the bureaucratic gauntlet of being processed. I pray for God's firm hand to set things straight.

And in the meantime, I'd like to publicly pray for God's influence in the search for additional income sources. I am thankful for my job--it was a Godsend--but I am at the time in life when a hand-to-mouth existence won't meet my needs much longer. Thank you all for your prayer support in the past--and thank Him for his grace.

Hey Mohawk, I know how it is fighting insurance and struggling with a low income.

I just signed up for a ton of different survey sites online. They are supposed to pay you for taking surveys. I've only actually gotten one paid survey so far, but I've only just signed up the last couple of weeks. Just a check-in to let you know I am still around. Thank you all so much -- your words work greater wonders than you know. And thanks, Bat, I will check into the survey sites.

I go tonight back to my pharmacy to see if the paperwork has cleared, and hopefully get my meds.
