I had told you last week that son went to a Church conference in California. He told me that he feels God is calling into some kind of ministry. He has applied to a Christian College that is on weekends where he can work and still go. Pray God's will on his life. He is a new Christian. He has been doing the power point at his Church for over a year and now he wants to do more.

What is power point? This is a new terminology to me.

Tech Ministries is what son said it is. He is in charge of preparing the stuff for the viewer screen and working it during the service. Because his Church rents a movie theather, he and the others in the department have to get to Church at 6:30 on Sunday mornings for a 9 a.m. service. Then he stays another hour after Church to take it all apart, so the theater can start showing movies.

Power Point is a Microsoft Office product for presentations. Many churches use it to show the song lyrics for worship time on a screen or on the wall. I also run the Power Point at my church (except our projector recently broke and we can't really afford to replace it, so we now just print songs on a flier for people). It is a good starting place for getting into ministry, learning to serve in your church.

I will pray that your son follows the leading of the Lord as he seeks other ways to serve Him and to minister to the flock.
