Hi: This is a request for prayer for some friends of ours. We have been gone overnight to pick up our daughter from college and returned home to find a message on our answering machine that ours friends Chris & Amber lost their home today to fire. We heard it burned to the ground.

We have not talked with them and have no idea how they are, but I believe that they are all safe.

They are a homeschool family and so there are additional complications for them there as well.

They have been building this home for a couple of years and they have just really within the past 2 weeks finished the final decorating & painting. It was built with the intention of giving a foster home to teen boys who are released from the detention program in thier town. Chris is a lay minister for a small country church that has no pastor. Please lift them up in your prayers.

I said a prayer for the family. At times like this it would sure be nice to be able to call God on the phone and ask why.

Will certainly lift this family up in prayers. It is hard to imagine what they must be going through right now. Thank God that they all survived. [Prayer]
