Please say a prayer for my mom... today would have been my dad's 70th birthday. He passed away nearly 9 years ago, but it is especially difficult this year because his dog passed away yesterday.

so my mom is not in a very good state at the moment.

Father, comfort BE's mom today. Memories can be so bitter sweet, Father I ask for strength and encouragement from Your Ruach to cover this dear lady today. Praise Your name Forever, Amen

I will pray for her. I know how hard it can be with things like that.

I will keep her in my prayers, I have lost both parents and it is difficult. God was and is still my comfort on those certain days I miss them the most.

Thank you all for your prayers. My mom and i were able to spend some time talking yesterday and she's doing ok.

Thank you too, Mrs. Betty. I was very upset myself when you IM'd me yesterday. Your timing was proof to me that the Father works in wonderfully mysterious ways.

Blessings to you all and Shalom!

I am so happy that you had a good day with your mom. I too try to be there for my mom when anniversay of death, bithday, etc for my sister and my dad. Now that I have moved almost 2,000 miles away. I have to be there by phone. [Smile]

It is not usually the annivesaries that hurt me so badly, but little things, something that is said that reminds me of them. Even being a Christian and knowing our loved ones with God, there not being with us is hard for us.
Please tell your mom, hello from me.

Thank you Mrs. Betty, i will.

I think the hardest thing for us is that my dad proclaimed himself to be atheist before he died. Of course, we don't know his last thoughts or anything. But it is sad to us to think that we may never see him again. My only hope is that Yahweh has mercy on him and many others like him.

Blessings to you all... Shalom.
